With the modernism citizens have a lot of facilities to get entertainment in life such as computer, mobile phones, cinemas, etc. Some people believe that in this modern era theaters and cinemas are never essential as citizens can streaming all the entertainment from online such as social media, YouTube etc. But others think that theaters and cinemas are significant for both economically and culturally. In my perspective, it is very important for economically and culturally. We will discuss both views and give some examples.

First of all, Some people think that get entertainment form cinemas inspite of getting from online, because they think that modernism provide all facilities to people so they cannot waste time to go there cinemas and theaters. For instance, technology provide computer, internet and mobile phone for getting entertainment. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, but the development is quite limited. The arguments regarding the economic and cultural importance of cinemas are superficial and lack specific, well-supported examples. The essay ends abruptly mid-sentence in the conclusion, which means the final position is not fully articulated. While the prompt is addressed, the ideas are under-developed, and the lack of a complete conclusion significantly impacts the overall task response. To improve, you should aim to expand on your points with more detailed reasoning and ensure that your conclusion is fully written out to summarize your position effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is often disjointed. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'First of all', 'Moving on', 'To sum up'), they are often used mechanically or incorrectly. For instance, the transition 'Moving on the others argument' is grammatically awkward. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors. The paragraphing is present, but the lack of a completed final paragraph hinders the overall coherence of the piece. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring logical transitions between sentences would help the reader follow your argument more easily.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic terms like 'important', 'facilities', and 'entertainment'. There are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'modernism' used instead of 'modern era' or 'technology', and 'protect there time' instead of 'save their time'. The spelling of 'ecnomic' is incorrect. The range of vocabulary is sufficient to convey basic meaning, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations and synonyms to avoid repeating the same words throughout your essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'technology provide'), incorrect preposition usage (e.g., 'go there cinemas'), and confusion between 'there' and 'their'. Sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at more complex sentences often result in errors. Punctuation is also inconsistent. While the meaning is usually understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement would be highly beneficial.
