The entertainment is the thing which gives humans bit relaxation away from there worries. As the digital advancement is increasing the way of getting entertain is also getting change . Few people believe that in this digital age they can watch there favorable show on digital platform due to which theatres and cinemas are getting worthless while others argue that theatres and cinemas are still equally important for economy and culture.

Nowadays majority of people prefer to watch movies on OTT platform instead of spending dollars in cinemas due to increment in the prices of tickets and popcorns by which theatres are losing its dominance over entertainment industries. This gives them there mode of binge in there own cozy environment.

Whereas there are few which still priorities to watch movies in cinema hall as it gives a difference sound effect and a unique kind of movie experience from home. It is importance for edging up country's economy and it also contributes to keep there culture maintained by creating historical and traditional films. Theatre acts and dramas gives an enhancement and encourage people to get connected with the character and the storyline which increase the talent and creativity of the actors.

As per my opinion theatres and cinemas are prime and they are getting developed by introducing different cinema experience like 4DX or Dolby effects or INOX big screening which attracts more audience. They should watch old or pre released movies at home but give priority to watch band new released film in cinemas.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the economic and cultural importance of cinemas is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples or deep analysis. The argument regarding the 'digital age' is clear, but the supporting points remain at a surface level. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations or concrete examples, such as how local cinemas support small businesses or how the communal experience of a theatre differs from solitary viewing.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a general progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Whereas there are few which still priorities' and 'As per my opinion'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer to their antecedents would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices and collocations, such as 'getting entertain', 'getting worthless', and 'edging up country's economy'. These errors occasionally make the text feel unnatural. To improve, focus on learning collocations (words that naturally go together) and using more sophisticated vocabulary to express your ideas. For example, instead of 'getting change', use 'undergoing a transformation'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('Theatre acts and dramas gives'), incorrect word forms ('It is importance'), and misuse of articles and prepositions. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly with verb tenses and pluralization, and practice constructing more complex sentences without sacrificing accuracy.
