Moreover, a few online entertaining platforms such as Netflix, Prime videos make this experience way smooth and straightforward. We do not need to make any plans beforehand or book advance tickets nowadays, all we just need to buy a subscription of those platforms and enjoy the show afterward.

On the other hand, despite all the facilities at home, theatres and cinemas are still similarly important for the immersive experience for sound system or massive display which home theatres often cannot offer. For example experience of a 3D movie at cinema cannot be replaceable with anything else. Film industries are investing significant amounts of money to make the show topnotch, so that, we want to buy tickets for that individual show, not like buying a subscription for all the movie available in the platforms. Nevertheless, hundred of thousands of jobs are relying on those industries. Moreover, government getting benefited economically by taxation. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the convenience of streaming services versus the immersive experience of cinemas and their economic impact. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For instance, the economic argument is mentioned but not fully explored with specific examples or deeper analysis. The position is consistent, but the essay would benefit from more detailed elaboration on the cultural significance of theatres to reach a higher band. Overall, all parts of the prompt are addressed, and the position is clear throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for each viewpoint, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the other hand', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or repetitive. The referencing is generally clear, though some sentences feel a bit disjointed due to minor grammatical issues. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different arguments, which helps the overall flow of the essay.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The range of vocabulary is adequate for the task. The student uses some topic-specific terms like 'immersive experience', 'subscription', and 'taxation'. However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'relay on this' (rely on this), 'way smooth' (very smooth), and 'giving as a reason' (providing a reason). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the precision and sophistication of the writing. A wider range of collocations and more precise vocabulary would improve the score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'In the modern life' (In modern life), 'advancement of the technology' (advancement of technology), 'high the quality' (high quality), and 'hundred of thousands' (hundreds of thousands). Additionally, there are issues with verb forms and articles. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. More attention to subject-verb agreement and article usage is needed.
