Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the argument regarding 'eye and brain health' is mentioned in both body paragraphs, which weakens the depth of the discussion. While the prompt asks for economic and cultural importance, the response focuses primarily on personal health and convenience. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the broader societal or economic implications of cinemas, such as their role in community building or the film industry's revenue, rather than focusing solely on the physical experience of watching a movie.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow is often disrupted by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. Some sentences are linked in a way that creates confusion, such as 'this is because, individual is watch movie with perfect distance'. The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, and the progression of ideas feels somewhat disjointed. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would help the reader follow your argument more smoothly.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'Entertainment is reduce the stress', 'resent era' (likely meaning 'recent era'), and 'short templar' (likely meaning 'short-tempered'). The phrase 'expertize' is used incorrectly in the conclusion. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the frequent errors in word formation prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on learning collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical form.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('theatres and cinemas is', 'online entertainment has provide') and incorrect verb tenses ('people showed less interest'). Sentence structures are often simple or contain errors when attempting complexity, such as 'mostly the price of movie ticket has seal on low price'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the reader can understand the main points, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar significantly impacts the clarity and professional tone of the writing.
