Now-a-days many individuals argued that cinema halls are not much popular on the other hand, ohers believe that cinema hall still plays a vital role in our economic and cultural development. After analyzing all the factors, I believe that people love to entertain themselves through online rather then cinema hall.
A range of people believe that cinema halls are not much popular in modern days, At present people do not want to visit cinema halls for watching movies. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic and cultural factors, the discussion remains superficial. For example, you mention that cinema halls provide foreign movies that are not related to cultural values, but this point is not fully explained or linked back to the broader argument about the importance of cinemas. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph provides a deeper analysis of the points raised rather than listing them. Your position is consistent throughout, which is a positive aspect of your writing.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. For instance, you use 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion' correctly, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs are sometimes abrupt. There are also issues with referencing; for example, 'it was also a time consuming matter' lacks a clear antecedent. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your sentences flow more naturally into one another through better pronoun usage and logical connectors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'not much popular' and 'good thing'. There are also several word-choice errors, such as 'functions' when referring to movies, and 'releated' (spelling error). The phrase 'mobile is the great source of entertainment' is slightly unnatural. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary related to media, economics, and culture, and pay closer attention to collocations and spelling to ensure your writing sounds more professional and academic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'many individuals argued' instead of 'argue'), article usage (e.g., 'for going cinema hall'), and tense inconsistency (e.g., 'it was also a time consuming matter'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several comma splices and missing full stops. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions, before attempting more complex structures.
