Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals believe that the digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer beneficial to people who watch all the entertainment digitally. While, some peoples are argue that theartes and cinemas are still crucial both economically and culturally.
Yes, I think that for some point of view of some peoples are wrong and right also.
Here it is why because in this digital age some individuals often go to theatres or cinemas just to experience the movie in best experience and also movie rate and movie reviews gets more and it theatre experience is so good that it is best for one time for movie to experience.
And some peoples watch digitally because some cases individual just not get time to see movies or they spend time with family or friends somewhere like for example if they want to explore some places or just to enjoy time with friends and family they rather spend on them not on the movie because they can watch is later. They get what time is now to spend with them and later they can enjoy when they get time so they watch online. In some cases some individuals don't get time beacuse they have children so they spend time with them rather than watching a movie and experience it. They think that they can experience that think or type of movie experience at home also. But some times it is wrong and right also and if simply they want to watch so they can watch and if they want experience at home they buy a better speaker with best quality.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development of ideas is limited and often repetitive. The student attempts to provide an opinion, but it is expressed unclearly as 'wrong and right also.' The arguments regarding why people choose digital platforms over cinemas are somewhat circular and lack depth. To improve, the student should focus on clearly stating a position in the introduction and supporting each viewpoint with distinct, well-developed arguments rather than repeating the same points about 'time' and 'family' throughout the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. The introduction is brief and contains grammatical errors that obscure the thesis. Paragraphing is present but the logical flow between sentences is weak. Cohesive devices are either missing or used incorrectly, such as the repetitive use of 'some peoples' and 'in some cases.' The transition between the two viewpoints is abrupt, and the conclusion is missing, which prevents the essay from having a coherent progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is very limited and repetitive. Phrases like 'best experience,' 'some peoples,' and 'wrong and right also' are used frequently, which restricts the range of expression. There is a lack of academic vocabulary appropriate for an IELTS Task 2 essay. The student struggles with basic collocations, such as 'movie rate' instead of 'film ratings' or 'cinematic experience.' To achieve a higher score, the student needs to expand their vocabulary to include more precise terms related to the topic of entertainment and technology.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some peoples are argue'), pluralization (e.g., 'theartes'), and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on or fragmented, making them difficult to follow. There is very little evidence of complex sentence structures, and the control over basic grammar is inconsistent. Significant improvement in sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors is required to reach a higher band.
