Student answer (Band 4.0)
In the present days the theaters and the cinemas are have the importance but not the same as in past days when the large number of people are hoping which movie is played tomorrow and do littel fights for seats they totaly enjoyed and all the stress of the day become gone after going to cinemas and watch their favoutie hero or heroen dramas and movies. In this time the people have mobile phones and smart TV in their houses and they do not prefer go to cinemas to watch movie ,they should prefer watch movie anytime they want they watch at home with their siblings and friends also.
On the other hand we see the socity they face high expenses due to economically loosen the way they do not importance on cinemas and theaters . They would be the one of the way of economically supports the country and also culturally.
According to my view the new generation not have more time to spent with there friend or families , they should just using internet on mobile phones

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 179 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While the prompt asks to discuss both views and provide an opinion, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting evidence or examples. The discussion on the economic and cultural importance of cinemas is very brief and lacks clarity. Because the response is significantly under-length and the ideas are not fully extended, it does not address all parts of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The essay lacks a clear logical progression. While there is an attempt to use paragraphing, the transitions between ideas are weak and often confusing. For example, the shift from the first paragraph to the second is abrupt, and the final paragraph is incomplete, failing to provide a coherent conclusion. Cohesive devices are largely absent or misused, making the text feel like a series of disconnected sentences rather than a structured argument. The overall arrangement of information is not sufficiently coherent to support the reader.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.0
The vocabulary is very limited and repetitive. There are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'socity' instead of 'society', 'favoutie' instead of 'favourite', and 'heroen' instead of 'heroine'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to discuss the topic in an academic manner. The student relies on basic, everyday language, and there is no attempt to use less common or more precise lexical items to express complex ideas regarding the cultural or economic impact of cinemas.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with verb tense consistency, subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure (e.g., 'the theaters and the cinemas are have the importance'). Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, and there is a lack of complex sentence structures. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing commas and incorrect capitalization. The high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to follow and indicates a lack of control over basic grammatical forms.
