Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 163 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you attempt to address both sides of the argument and state an opinion, the discussion is superficial and lacks the necessary depth or supporting examples required for an academic essay. The ideas are repetitive and lack the expansion needed to fully explore the economic and cultural importance mentioned in the prompt. To improve, you must develop each paragraph with specific, well-supported arguments and ensure the essay meets the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no introduction or conclusion, and the response is presented as a single, poorly organized block of text. The use of cohesive devices is very limited, making the progression of ideas difficult to follow. For example, the transition 'on the other hand' is used, but the overall flow is disjointed. To achieve a higher score, you need to organize your writing into clear paragraphs with a logical introduction, body paragraphs that focus on one main idea each, and a concluding summary.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. Phrases like 'do funny activities' and 'it is not feel like cinematic' are unnatural and imprecise. There is a lack of variety in word choice, and some terms are used incorrectly, such as 'it valuable for a monthly'. To improve, you should focus on learning collocations and more sophisticated vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'social experience', 'technological advancement', or 'financial implications', rather than relying on simple, everyday language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that impede communication. There are significant issues with sentence structure, such as run-on sentences and missing subjects or verbs (e.g., 'it is as the same see the to their phone'). Punctuation is largely absent, making it difficult to identify where sentences begin and end. The range of structures is very limited, consisting mostly of simple, error-prone sentences. To improve, you must focus on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and prepositions.
