Student answer (Band 5.5)

Nowadays, has technology increases so many resources are avalaible in the market to watch the movies on the same day of release rather than in theaters. In my point of view Most of the movies must be watched in theaters to experience a vibe and sounds and the atmosphere. And some people may agree with this point and others does'nt. let us discuss both of the point.

To begin with, People who want a theater experience are very rare at present generation due to lots of resources are existing to watch those movies in piracy.

Although, People are always prefered to watch and get a wonderful experience in theatre and they all know the importance of theaters and cinemas economical followed by culture. Additionally, People who has lots of knowledge about movies, screenplay, direction of moive they always prefer to watch moives in theater itelf and they don't get that much enthusiasm by watch in OTT platform in which get in theaters.

On Other hand, Some people prefer to watch al the movies in a particular OTT platform and Piracy which is an disgusting concept to experience an moive. So here, People who dont't prefer theatre to watch a movie are comes under people who prefer to movies in silent and some people don't like the theater atmosphere due to sound effects of movie. Moreover, people are prefered to watch moives at home because they want to avoid they crowd of theater, this was mainly prefered by person who have OCD on crowd.

their are some drawbacks by watching in OTT. Some are like story of movie can be known by social media and other people and we don't get any interest to watch.

In conclusion, People must choose to experience cinemas in theatre and they should aware of importance of both economical and culture of cinemas.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, though the development is somewhat superficial. While you mention economic and cultural importance, these points are not fully explored or supported with specific examples. The argument remains repetitive, focusing heavily on personal preference rather than broader societal or economic impacts. To improve, ensure each body paragraph provides a clear, well-reasoned argument supported by a concrete example or logical explanation. The conclusion is present but lacks a summary of the main points discussed, which is necessary for a more balanced response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by awkward phrasing and a lack of clear transition between ideas. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'To begin with', 'On Other hand', 'In conclusion'), they are sometimes used incorrectly or mechanically. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of the argument. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph focuses on a single, coherent idea would significantly enhance the readability and structure of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'disgusting concept to experience an moive' and 'OCD on crowd'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'avalaible', 'moive', 'theatre itelf') impede the overall quality. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure correct spelling and collocation of terms related to the topic of entertainment and technology.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('technology increases', 'others does'nt', 'people are prefered'), incorrect verb tenses, and awkward sentence structures. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, these are often faulty, which can cause difficulty for the reader. Punctuation is also inconsistent throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of passive and active voice before attempting more complex structures.
