Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few people say that in the modern era theatres and cinema are no longer crucial as people watch all the movies digitally other argue that these are importance both economically and culturally. Yes I agree with this point of view that in the new age threaten and cinema are not that essential.Because in this new generation people don’t have enough time to watch movies in theatre and cinema.Other reason is that in some cities cinema and theatre are not present.Due to this reason people agree to watch movies online.
Modern society don’t have much time to entertain themselves in cinema.People of today’s generation are much worried about their future and carrier so they don’t waste their time watching movies in cinema. They prefer to view movies online through different platforms in free time. Some people are much worried about their work . They spend most of their time in work hours. Because of this reason they become restless. For example my father work 9 to 5 they don’t have much time to go to cinema and theatre .
Another reason is that cinema and theatre are not present in small town due to the low focus of government in local area. So citizen prefer to watch movies online. Because human being don’t want to go at different cities just to watch movies.Due to this reason citizen just go to watch movies online through different websites.
Conclusion is that theatre and cinema are no longer beneficial for citizen because citizen can view all the enjoyment online

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views, but it fails to provide a balanced discussion. You only argue in favor of the view that cinemas are no longer important, completely neglecting the second perspective regarding their economic and cultural value. The ideas are repetitive and lack depth, focusing almost exclusively on the lack of time and accessibility. To improve, you must ensure you address both sides of the argument equally and provide specific, relevant examples that support the cultural or economic importance of cinemas, rather than just personal anecdotes about your father's work schedule.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is weak. The use of cohesive devices is very limited and often repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'Due to this reason' and 'Because of this reason' to start sentences. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between ideas feels mechanical rather than logical. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words like 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'on the other hand' to connect your thoughts more naturally and improve the flow of your arguments.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive, which limits your ability to express complex ideas. Words like 'important', 'time', and 'movies' are used frequently without variation. There are also errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'carrier' instead of 'career' and 'threaten' instead of 'theatres'. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use more precise vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'cinematic experience', 'digital streaming platforms', or 'cultural heritage', and ensure you are using the correct forms of words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Modern society don’t', 'my father work'), incorrect verb tenses, and sentence fragments. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and punctuation. Additionally, try to incorporate more complex sentence structures, such as using relative clauses or conditional sentences, while ensuring they are grammatically accurate.
