Student answer (Band 5.0)
A common belief is that although the necessary of cinema hall is important in today's digital era with platforms like netflix and amazon are most vureranable online streaming sites, which provide unlimited entertainment content at one click of button without spending money in tickets. But cinematic experience is also important to appreciate the creative craft of makers.
I completely agree that people should consume content by sitting at home without going to theatres and watch movies. Mainly streaming platforms provide webserial and biography films on internet, without paying single penny. For example well-knowned famous cricketer from india had made a movie and released in cinema hall, which was flop in the sense. Because the story of cricketer was not completely shown in movie.
In india online content was quite not famous but, due to the internet individual had discover different category of genre. Movie cannot create movies on each genre which required a lot of investment.
On the hand, Movies are made to give new experiences to audience beyond the imagination with the visual and music which streaming has some disadvantage. Maker show the craft behind the creation of each culture and futurastic aspects, which required to watch on big screens. For example movies like avatar , avengers and harry potter are not meant to watch on small screen ratio, they makes movie so people can feel the emotion and hard work of the actor and director . Cinema is profitable, if the story and cinematography is well executed the movie can be sucessfully and economically

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument, but the development of ideas is inconsistent and sometimes confusing. For instance, the second paragraph is meant to support the view that online streaming is superior, but the example provided regarding a cricketer's biography is unclear and does not effectively support the argument. Furthermore, the student's own opinion is somewhat contradictory, as the introduction states they agree with watching content at home, yet the final paragraph highlights the importance of the cinema experience. The ideas are present but lack the depth and logical progression required for a higher band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing and unclear transitions. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'For example', 'On the hand'), they are often applied mechanically or incorrectly. The relationship between sentences is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the second paragraph where the argument shifts abruptly. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to track the progression of the argument. Better use of linking words and clearer topic sentences would improve the overall structure.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and contains several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'necessary of cinema hall' instead of 'necessity of cinemas' and 'vureranable' (likely meaning 'vibrant' or 'popular'). There is also a reliance on basic vocabulary, and some terms are used incorrectly, such as 'webserial' and 'biography films'. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the frequent errors and lack of precision in word choice hinder the clarity of the message. A wider range of vocabulary is needed to express ideas more accurately.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('they makes movie'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or run-on, which makes reading difficult. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are often inaccurate, leading to confusion. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. To improve, the student should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring that subject-verb agreement is consistent throughout the text.
