Student answer (Band 5.0)

As in the digital age theaters and cinemas are nt aften more famous places as they were before as people can watch anything online, they want to watch. Although the other opinion is also correct in some caes as both economical and cultural growth of cinemas and theaters is also important as it will be more fun to watch in cinemas as compared to watch online at home.

Firstly, i will discuss about the one opinion, as technology is growing up and up in present times. The interests of people are changing, their priorities are changing with time passing. So the theaters and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch all the entertainment they want online weather it is on a laptop or a mobile phone. It is more convinient for people to stay at home and watch whatever they want online.

The argument of the other people is also worth saying as there wil be lss enjoyment if we watch movies lonely at home as compared to go outside and enjoy with friends, family on a large area on the big screen and it would remain the culture of the old worls alive and economic growth will also gives benefit to organizers as well as the government for its publicity around the globe.

But in my opinion both the opinions are wrong, as a Muslim we are not supposed to be involved in these kind of activities elsewhere, waether online or at cinemas. We sholud follow the instructions given by Allah and its rasool Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). Islam teaches us to do parda This advancent before in the past and now is not the part of our lives as in Islam. Both cinemas and social media is spreading falseness and negativity around the globe and these are the signs of Qayamat (The Day of Judgement_. So, we all should be aware of all these actions so we should not have to feel embarrasement in front of Allah and remove sins from our lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt but fails to maintain a balanced discussion. While you acknowledge both views, your conclusion shifts the focus entirely to a personal religious perspective, which deviates from the task requirements. The prompt asks for a discussion on the economic and cultural importance of cinemas versus digital entertainment. By stating 'both the opinions are wrong' and focusing on religious doctrine, you do not fully develop the arguments requested. To improve, ensure your opinion directly addresses the prompt's core debate rather than introducing external moral arguments that do not engage with the economic or cultural aspects mentioned in the instructions.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. Transitions are often repetitive or misused, such as 'Firstly, i will discuss about the one opinion' and 'The argument of the other people is also worth saying'. These phrases are mechanical and do not effectively link ideas. The flow between the discussion of technology and the sudden shift to religious views is abrupt, making the overall structure feel disjointed. Using a wider variety of cohesive devices like 'consequently', 'furthermore', or 'in contrast' would help create a smoother flow between your arguments.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often imprecise. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'technology is growing up and up' and 'the culture of the old worls alive'. You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle with collocations, such as 'economic growth will also gives benefit'. While the meaning is generally clear, the range is insufficient to express complex ideas effectively. You should focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to media, culture, and economics to improve your precision and range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('economic growth will also gives benefit'), incorrect word forms ('convinient'), and punctuation errors. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when attempting complexity. For example, 'As in the digital age theaters and cinemas are nt aften more famous places' is syntactically confusing. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on basic sentence construction, consistent verb tense usage, and proofreading for spelling errors like 'waether' and 'sholud'.
