Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic benefits like job creation and tax revenue, the cultural aspect is touched upon only briefly through the mention of 'celebrating movies'. The arguments are relevant but lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph fully explores the 'why' and 'how' behind your points rather than listing them. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. For example, the frequent use of 'some people' and 'for example' at the start of sentences makes the flow feel a bit simplistic. There are also issues with referencing; for instance, 'it was great time' in the third paragraph lacks a clear antecedent. To reach a higher band, try to use a wider variety of linking words and ensure that your sentences are connected more fluidly rather than just being placed next to each other.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'great experience' and 'very important'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'distract people by a lot of disturbances' and 'providing a bread and butter'. While the meaning is clear, the lack of sophisticated or topic-specific vocabulary (e.g., 'cinematic immersion', 'socio-economic impact', 'digital streaming platforms') limits the score. Focus on learning collocations and more academic synonyms for common words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('some people argues'), article usage ('in a digital platforms'), and awkward phrasing ('cannot focus in proper'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and capitalization after periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and refining your control over complex sentence structures.
