Student answer (Band 5.0)
watching movies online and in cinemas would be different expereince. According to me cinemas would be the best place to watch movies and also you can watch movies online but With no mega screen and blasting boofers with hundreds of peoples. It depends on you, On your nature wether you are crowdy person or boring one. If you are a lonely person and you don't like peoples around you and have some privacy issues then, Probably you should watch movies online. That's me, I don't like peoples around me and i don't want a mega screen with blasting boofers. I am ok with my laptop and airpods in my ears. It's been years, I watched thousands of series and movies on my laptop and i am still watching these shows online. I am happy with that.
Actually, It can be important economically and culturally to go into cinemas. It will give a boost to country's economy. Culturally it would be best thing to do because the next generation will know and they must experience these cinema's stuff. In my country there are many reasons people don't go in cinemas anymore because of bombing and parents won't allow them to go into theatres wether they are 18+ and some of them are busy in their works.
There are villages in my country where peoples didn't even know about cinemas or any other latest technology and that's why pakistan's youth and government is not progressing. Because of less oppurtunities. If youth get's to know about technology and other stuff there will be successful Engineers and scientists from pakistan. Wether it can be him/her.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt but lacks the formal structure required for an academic essay. While you discuss both views, the personal opinion is heavily focused on your own preferences rather than a balanced analysis of the broader societal implications. The argument regarding the economy and culture is underdeveloped and shifts abruptly into a discussion about technology and education in Pakistan, which is only tangentially related to the importance of cinemas. To improve, ensure each paragraph focuses on a specific aspect of the prompt and provides clear, logical support for your arguments rather than personal anecdotes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The transition between your personal preference for watching movies at home and the broader economic/cultural argument is abrupt. Cohesive devices are used in a very basic or repetitive way (e.g., 'Actually', 'Because of'). The referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow of ideas feels disjointed. To improve, use a wider range of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to the main prompt, creating a more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You use informal language such as 'boofers' (likely meaning woofers/speakers), 'crowdy person', and 'cinema's stuff'. There is a lack of academic or precise terminology required for a Task 2 essay. Spelling errors, such as 'expereince', 'wether', and 'oppurtunities', are frequent and detract from the professional tone. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific vocabulary related to media, economics, and culture, and practice using more formal synonyms for everyday words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex structures, but grammatical errors are frequent and occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'It's been years, I watched thousands of series' (tense error), 'peoples' (incorrect pluralization), and 'If youth get's to know' (subject-verb agreement error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and capitalization. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles and plural forms before attempting more complex grammatical structures.
