Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some Individuals believe that in the digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer required because can watch all the entrainment they want online while others consider that theater and cinemas are still crucial both financially and traditionally.
cinema and theaters have their own importance people can earn money and make bread and butter of their home by them . It helps to raised funding for charity for any organizations. we can enjoy a family time in theatre and cinemas . its not only a source of entrainment it can promote our traditional values. most of the culture play are performed on theatre rather than online For example India have strongest film industry as they have a good cinema audience they can promote their culture from their films and economically strong as compared to Pakistan industry.
However a digital era can lower the range of cinema but it cant be replaced it . Most of time person enjoy movie online if they have busy day or hectic . furthermore some time we want some time alone and just want to relax at home as compared to dine out for a movie in such perspective online media can be useful. For instance a person have severe leg injury he cant move his leg for at least a month so they entrained them self by the help of digital media rather than go to cinema so they cant feel depressed at home.
In my opinion both have their own importance either can't be replaced its depend upon our mode for entertainment what media i choose.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention economic and cultural benefits, the points are brief and lack depth. For instance, the example regarding the Indian film industry is relevant but could be expanded to better illustrate the cultural impact. The conclusion is present but quite brief. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph contains a clear topic sentence followed by detailed supporting evidence or examples to fully develop your arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is inconsistent and sometimes mechanical. For example, the transition 'However a digital era' lacks a comma, and the flow between sentences within paragraphs is occasionally disjointed. Some sentences, such as 'cinema and theaters have their own importance people can earn money', are run-on sentences that lack proper punctuation or linking words. Improving the use of transition signals (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') would help create a smoother progression of ideas throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the range and precision required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'make bread and butter of their home' and 'entrained them self'. These expressions are not standard academic English. Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'entrainment' instead of 'entertainment'. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and collocations, and ensure that you proofread your work to correct basic spelling and word-form errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Issues include missing articles ('in theatre'), subject-verb agreement errors ('it helps to raised'), and incorrect verb forms ('they entrained them self'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas after introductory phrases. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of these errors prevents a higher score. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and correct punctuation to improve your accuracy.
