Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views and provides an opinion, though the conclusion is incomplete, cutting off mid-sentence. While the ideas regarding digital convenience and economic benefits are relevant, they are somewhat under-developed. The argument for economic benefits is a list of points rather than a cohesive discussion. To improve, ensure that each point is fully explained with a clear link to the prompt, and always complete your conclusion to ensure your position is clearly stated and summarized. The response covers the main requirements but lacks the depth and structural completeness expected at higher bands.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'To embark that', 'Moreover', and 'On the contrary'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or inaccurate, such as the opening phrase 'To embark that', which is not standard English. Paragraphing is present, but the final paragraph is incomplete, which disrupts the logical flow of the argument. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the progression of ideas within paragraphs is somewhat disjointed. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words and ensuring a complete, well-structured conclusion would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'Certain masses' instead of 'Some people' or 'legal authorities' when referring to the government. Spelling errors are frequent, including 'perserve', 'value able', 'contry', and 'importanst'. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'infrastructure' and 'revenue', the overall range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on using more natural collocations and ensure you proofread your work to eliminate basic spelling mistakes.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('people has to access', 'cinemas... helps'), missing articles, and incorrect sentence fragments. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and misused periods. For example, 'as people go malls and shopping complex where they watch films...' is a fragment that should be connected to the previous clause. Focusing on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and correct punctuation will help improve your accuracy and clarity.
