Student answer (Band 5.0)
in my opinion, nowadays in the digital age theaters and cinemas are still very important both culturally and economically. As we all know that in this era of technology there's everything at our one cllick. We can watch everything while sitting in any corner of the world. But talking about the importance of the thearters and cinemas we can't deny it. They carry also a kind of heritage. They represent and maintain our culture. the whole wolrd nowadys is also connect by this bond of cinema and theatres. This one thing bring the world on one platform as enetrtainment industry is one of the largest industries in whole world. So the economic value of the cinemas and theatres can the guessed by the fact that they are the main pillers of one of the biggest industreis of world. so both culturally and economically cinemas and theatres are very important. Talking about the other side of the coin, of people who thinks that these two are not very important . they think this that its the wastage of time to give our specific time at specific place. Because they are the people of free will. they want to enjoy there time at their home while watching their favourite shows online

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address both sides of the argument and state an opinion, the discussion is superficial and lacks the necessary depth and supporting examples required for a higher band. The arguments regarding economic and cultural importance are mentioned but not sufficiently extended or illustrated. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples or logical explanations to reach the required length and demonstrate a more thorough exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks clear paragraphing, which makes the progression of ideas difficult to follow. There is no clear separation between the introduction, the body paragraphs, and the conclusion. While you attempt to use some cohesive devices like 'But' and 'So', the transitions between sentences are often abrupt or mechanical. The logical flow is hindered by the lack of structure. To improve, ensure you use clear paragraph breaks for each new idea and employ a wider range of linking words (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'on the other hand') to connect your thoughts more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally basic and repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'important' and 'cinemas and theatres'. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'cllick', 'thearters', 'wolrd', 'nowadys', 'enetertainment', 'industreis', 'pillers') that suggest a lack of proofreading. While the meaning is generally clear, the range of vocabulary is limited and does not demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands. You should focus on learning topic-specific collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and improve the sophistication of your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'people who thinks', 'this one thing bring') and punctuation errors. Sentence structures are predominantly simple, with limited attempts at complex sentences. Some phrasing is awkward, such as 'there's everything at our one cllick'. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, including correct verb forms and pluralization. Once you have a solid foundation, practice incorporating complex structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences to demonstrate a wider grammatical range.
