On the one hand, some individuals believe that play halls and film theatres are not quite significant as people can watch all the movies of their personal taste at home. the main reason is that they can get entertainment free of cost because they will not have to pay for watching plays or shows. However, new film can take some days to launch on internet but it can prove very beneficial for the citizens if they can watch it without paying. In this contemporary society, many individuals appretiate historical movies as they want to be connected with their old traditions. the owners of these halls can also make huge amount of money by opening some shops beside it. A lot of citizens want to get some juices or small snacks with them so they can entertain themselves while watching movie. To illustratre, as many persons like to watch films with popcorns so, opening such shops will be beneficial for owners. Consequently, they can make extra money by such schemes.
In my perspective, watching movies at home are more relaxing and beneficial as they do not require money and restrictions. But if someone goes to cinema, he probably has to reach on the exact time and place with ticket.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding the economic importance of cinemas focuses heavily on selling snacks rather than broader economic impacts like job creation or urban regeneration. The personal opinion is also slightly contradictory, as it acknowledges the benefits of both but leans toward home viewing without fully synthesizing the two perspectives. To reach a higher band, you should provide more sophisticated reasoning and ensure your position is clearly maintained throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'To conclude.' However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'In my perspective' (should be 'From my perspective'). Additionally, the flow between sentences is occasionally interrupted by grammatical errors or repetitive phrasing. The referencing is generally clear, but the progression of ideas could be smoother to ensure a more natural reading experience.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'indivdials,' 'traditianlly,' 'cherrish,' and 'appretiate.' The word choice is often simplistic, such as 'play halls' or 'film halls,' which are not standard collocations. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and the presence of spelling mistakes limit the score. To improve, focus on learning topic-specific collocations and proofreading for common spelling errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there is a high frequency of grammatical errors. Examples include 'opponents thinks' (subject-verb agreement), 'can can watch' (repetition), 'at ay time' (typo), and 'watching movies at home are' (subject-verb agreement). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting and indicate a lack of control over complex structures.
