Student answer (Band 5.5)
The argue regarding theaters and cinemas create two diffrent perspectives. While some argue that in specifically young generation are not attractive with stage perfomances and movies on big screen as people will more likey to prefer online whatever they want, Other individuals claim that these are still essential in both perpectives socially and treditionaly. Although both stance have their own viewpoints, I primarily support former view.
Nowadays youth are less intrested in film and drama on big screen because of advancement in technology. The reason behind it has despite selective shows and movies, all contents are available on small screen plateforms. which can accecible anytime in day or night. therefore digitalisation makes residents anti social and unintrested. A clear example of this idea is various OTT plateforms such as netflix, amazon prime, hotstar and others.
Meanwhile, people who oppose on priore view argue that, still in these time theaters and cinemas contain value as previously. This is because it is a part of social get-together which strength the connectction between humans. Moreover huge screen get more entertainment and feeling compare to small screen because of better sound system, clear visualization and appropriate environment. For instance, those various dimentional movies only preferable to watch in theaters.
In conclusion, Although As an leisture activity movies and drama substract diffrent opinions, i prefer priore view. because in busy it can accecible anytime and anywhere with large amount of choices. whereas, inperson theater and drama is also prevelant choise because of socially participation and better quality.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the argument regarding the 'digital age' is supported by listing platforms like 'Netflix', but the explanation of why this makes people 'anti-social' is not fully explored. The conclusion is slightly contradictory, as it acknowledges the value of in-person theater while maintaining a preference for the digital alternative, which could be articulated more clearly. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more nuanced reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Nowadays', 'Meanwhile', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'The argue regarding' at the start or the fragmented sentence structure in the second paragraph ('which can accecible anytime...'). The use of referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother to improve the overall progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express basic ideas about technology and entertainment. There are several spelling errors, such as 'diffrent', 'intrested', 'dimentional', and 'prevelant', which occasionally distract the reader. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good' or 'better'. To improve, the student should focus on using more precise academic collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of key terms related to the topic.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('theaters and cinemas create'), incorrect word forms ('socially and treditionaly'), and punctuation errors, such as the misuse of full stops within sentences. Some sentences are grammatically incomplete or awkward, such as 'Although both stance have their own viewpoints'. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction limit the score.
