Student answer (Band 5.0)
more and more citizens belive that, digital age, cinemas and theaters not very important, while they can watch all they want online. However, others argue that cinemas and theaters untill this time staying important for culturally and economically, this essay will analyse this topic from both points of view and express my opinion.
On the one hand, it is belived by some people that the gidital age not important to much in own time while we are living in technology time and we can watch what we want online. In fact cinema and theater disliked by a lot of people because when they do those activities feels wastes of time and money. In addition you can watched anything you want, only with your mobile for free. For example i watched new film named heart of darkness by mobile and only in my home also in my free time. Therefore, in the degital age cinemas and theater aren't important as people can watch what they want online.
On the other hand, other citizens argue that activities still important for economic and culture. In other words, when people spend money for cinemas to watch films its hellped city to grow up in economic. For instance my cousin go to the cinemqs last week and he spend 50€ to watch his best film. Furthermore, theaters can shows the original cultures for visiters people.
In conclusion, there are no easy answers to this question. On balance, however, i tend to belive that on digital age we can get what we want feom cinemas and also theaters.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the task. However, the development of ideas is limited. For example, the argument regarding economic benefits is simplistic, stating only that spending money helps the city grow, without explaining the mechanism. The conclusion is also somewhat contradictory and unclear, as it suggests we can get what we want from cinemas and theaters, which does not clearly align with the prompt's debate about their continued importance versus online alternatives. To improve, you should provide more detailed explanations and specific examples to support your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, phrases like 'untill this time staying important' and 'in own time' disrupt the flow of ideas. The transition between sentences is sometimes abrupt, and the logical progression within paragraphs is weak. While there is an attempt to use linking words like 'On the one hand' and 'In addition', the overall cohesion is inconsistent, making the text feel somewhat disjointed in places.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic words. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and spelling errors, such as 'gidital' instead of 'digital', 'belive' instead of 'believe', and 'hellped' instead of 'helped'. The phrasing is often unnatural, such as 'grow up in economic' and 'visiters people'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the lack of precision and the frequent errors in word formation and collocation prevent the essay from reaching a higher band score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('cinemas and theaters not very important'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or lack necessary auxiliary verbs, such as 'you can watched anything' and 'theaters can shows'. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are often faulty. The frequent errors in basic grammar and punctuation occasionally impede the reader's understanding, which is characteristic of a lower band score.
