Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this technological era, most of the people believes that theatres and cinemas are no longer crucial as online entertainment platform. Meanwhile, some argue that they are still paramount importance for both our economy and culturally. From my perspective, I agree with the latter argument because i believe it ought to give proper time spend with your loved ones with out any distraction and help the economy of the country.
On the one hand, watching online movies and shows are easily accessed by many sides and even free of cost, which provides young generation to save money from theatre and cinemas and even from transportation. Furthermore, there will be a lot of distraction from watching movies, like work, home work, and even other distraction come from home, causatively this provides a stressful environment to see any show at home. For instance, on weekend young couple decided entertain by any show but was distracted by some work, which will roots to lot of disappiontment.
However, on the other hand, entertaining in specific platforms in person will provides lot of benefit. From my stance, it provides a quality time to spend with your loved ones with out any distraction. Couples already booked their shows, so they have to clear their schedule time ahead, and spending money on tickets and on transport economically benefits the local community. Subsequently, these theatres and cinemas culturally aware the young generation about cultural norms and regulations.
In conclusion, although digital entertaining websites give access to lot of facilities, but i believe traditional platforms are more beneficial because it facilitates economical and cultural benefits.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on the importance of theatres and cinemas versus online entertainment platforms and providing a clear personal position. The writer supports their argument with reasons regarding family time, lack of home distractions, and economic benefits. However, some ideas are slightly under-developed and lack depth of extension. For instance, the discussion of cultural awareness is very brief in the third body paragraph. Additionally, there are minor generalisations in the reasoning. Overall, the task is adequately fulfilled, corresponding to a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph-by-paragraph structure, including a proper introduction, body paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'On the one hand', 'However, on the other hand', and 'In conclusion'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, the phrase 'causatively this provides a stressful environment' is awkward and disrupts the logical flow. Furthermore, pronoun referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in the conclusion where 'it facilitates economical and cultural benefits' vaguely refers to traditional platforms. Paragraphing is used, but internal progression is at times repetitive, placing this at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'technological era', 'paramount importance', and 'economically benefits'. However, there are numerous lexical and collocation errors throughout the response, including 'most of the people believes' (agreement error alongside vocabulary), 'online entertainment platform' (missing plural), 'time spend', 'culturally aware', and 'digital entertaining websites'. Words are sometimes used in the wrong word class, such as 'culturally' instead of 'cultural' or a noun form. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the score to Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety with subordinate clauses and conditional ideas. However, the text contains frequent grammatical errors, particularly regarding subject-verb agreement ('most of the people believes'), tense consistency ('young couple decided entertain'), preposition usage ('spend with', 'distraction from'), and word formation. Punctuation is also problematic in places, with comma splices and run-on sentences like 'Couples already booked their shows, so they have to clear their schedule time ahead, and spending money on tickets...'. While meaning is generally recoverable, the high frequency of errors prevents the grammar from reaching a Band 6.0, placing it at a Band 5.0.
