Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's era, many people thinks that going to theatres or cinema is waste of time and money, while some think that those are still plays an inportant role in economic and cultural growth. let's discuss about this in following paragraphs.
First of all, due to the digitalization we can see all the programs or movies at our place on the digital platforms. We do not have to go uot and stay in the lines for watching movies or dramas, while we can see the same things at our comfort without using any fuel or wasting our money on the expensive snacks and popcorns of the theatres. But there is a minus point is we have to pay monthly subscriptions of various digital platforms and sometimes we donot have time to see any movie or drama due to our work, family or festivals. For example, we have subscribed some online platforms for recreation, but due to our work nature and strict schedules we donot get time to see at our television for arounf two months, but the money deducted for the subscriptions every month so we discontinued all enrolments.
On other hands, going for movie or drama in theatre or cinemas is a fun experience. Before it was boring due to long wait at ticket counters and snacks stalls, but now a days we can book tickets, choose seats and order snacks for our movie in advance, so we just have to go to the cinema and enjoy movie without any wait in line. This help local community to build and help many to earn money. But there is a contradiction that we can't pause and watch the movie or drama later. we have to finish it in one sitting.
Both have their own benefits and losses. On digital platforms we can enjoy our favourite shows and movies at our time and as many time we want to enjoy it, but we have to pay fees every month if we donot use it. While in theatre we can enjoy our time without any subscriptions but we can't enjoy the same show in the same ticket more than once.
In my opinion, both has their importance but i will go with digital platforms because as my job nature I don't have time to go out for movies without prior plannings, but i can enjoy my favourite shows in my television at home or on my phone or laptome while commutinng to and forth job.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that theatres are obsolete due to digital platforms and that they remain economically and culturally important—while also providing a clear personal opinion. The student extends and supports ideas with relevant personal examples, such as subscription management and work schedules. However, the tone occasionally slips into a conversational style ('let's discuss about this in following paragraphs'), and some ideas, particularly the economic impact, are slightly under-developed. Nevertheless, the requirements of the prompt are well-covered, aligning with the Band 6.5 to 7.0 descriptors. Overall, the task is successfully fulfilled with a clear stance maintained throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, separating the introduction, body paragraphs addressing both views, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First of all', 'For example', and 'On other hands', though some transitions feel a bit mechanical or non-standard ('On other hands' instead of 'On the other hand'). Referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences can occasionally be abrupt, particularly in the concluding section. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to structure the arguments logically, earning a solid Band 6.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common phrases like 'digital platforms', 'monthly subscriptions', and 'recreation'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, such as 'thinks' instead of 'think', 'inportant', 'uot', 'around' spelled as 'arounf', 'plannings', and 'commutinng'. These errors do not seriously impede communication, but they restrict the lexical score. To achieve a higher band, the student needs greater accuracy in spelling and collocation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional-like structures ('if we donot use it', 'while commuting to and forth job'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('many people thinks', 'both has their importance'), articles, and prepositions ('at our place', 'see at our television'). Punctuation and capitalization are also inconsistent (e.g., lower-case 'let's', 'i'). These errors occasionally cause minor strain for the reader, placing the grammar firmly in the Band 5.5 category.
