Student answer (Band 5.5)
Latest technology has made phones nothing less then a personal theathres some people supports this while some argue there should be a physical theatre environment.
To begin with, the modern technonolgy and advancements in entertainment industry has changed the cosumers habbits substancially with the launch of OT platforms where dedicated shows are released directly and exclusivley gives people option of watching their favourite or latest shows or movies at homes on their bed just with a little subscription fee .For instance Netflix where Genz watches shows. It is quite affordable for many people as tickets could be somtimes very expentive for big budget movies. It also attracts alot of those people who do not like to sociolize and want a private space to enjoy.
On the other hand, theatres has been a major part of the entertainment industry since ages. It is no longer a preffered way now a days for entertainment but theatres can offer expericance which no other platform could with huge screen and soft padded seats and the elite 3d music experience . Theathers revival is very crucial as it generates tons of money and contributes to the both national economy and the industry growth. It also builds community and sense of togetherness when people of different groups sit together and enjoy a specific content it creats an elite positive atmosphere .For instance when spider was launched in pakistan people went crazy and tickets were sold out it generated so much money as theather wre full and people bought popcorns and they also did shoping as an axtra activity .
I firmly belive that theatres should definely be re opned and promoted as it not only generates revenues but also build communities and increase physical outdoor activity regarlesss of the convinients by digital platforms.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views regarding the relevance of theatres and cinemas in the digital age and clearly states your personal opinion in the conclusion. You discuss the economic and cultural benefits of physical venues, such as community building and revenue generation, while acknowledging the convenience of streaming platforms like Netflix. However, some ideas lack deep extension and contain occasional over-generalizations, such as the claim about people going crazy for Spider-Man without exploring deeper cultural implications. The position is maintained throughout, fitting the Band 6 descriptors well for covering all parts of the prompt with relevant, albeit sometimes basic, development.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing each side of the argument, and a distinct concluding opinion. Paragraphing is utilised adequately to separate distinct ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, transitional phrases like 'To begin with' and 'On the other hand' are used, but referencing and logical progression within paragraphs can feel abrupt. Run-on sentences and punctuation issues also disrupt the flow, placing your performance firmly at Band 5.5 to 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary range is adequate for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'substancially', 'exclusivley', and 'revival'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the essay, including 'theathres', 'technonolgy', 'cosumers', 'habbits', 'OT platforms', 'sociolize', and 'convinients'. These errors indicate a limited control of word formation and spelling, although they do not entirely impede communication. This matches the Band 5.0 profile for lexical resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence forms attempted throughout your essay. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in punctuation, missing articles, run-on sentences, and subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'theatres has been', 'people went crazy and tickets were sold out it generated'). Many complex structures contain errors that require the reader to slow down. Punctuation is largely neglected, with multiple clauses jammed together without appropriate full stops or commas. This level of grammatical control corresponds to a Band 5.0.
