Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—the decline of theatres in the digital age versus their ongoing cultural and economic importance—and clearly states the writer's opinion. The ideas are relevant and supported with explanations, such as economic distribution to workers and the unique social experience of the audience. However, the development remains somewhat general and repetitive, and the position, while clear, is expressed simply. The word count meets the minimum requirement, and the main arguments are sufficiently articulated to warrant a Band 5.5.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into four paragraphs, following a standard introduction, two body paragraphs representing each side, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is hindered by frequent referencing errors and awkward transitions, such as 'However, these are evolved in many way as comapre to back in time'. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or mechanical, and paragraphing, although structurally present, lacks smooth internal flow. The relationships between ideas are occasionally obscured by structural slips, placing the coherence securely at Band 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and frequently hindered by noticeable spelling and word choice errors. Examples include 'parmount' (paramount), 'plateforms' (platforms), 'maken-up artist' (make-up artist), 'econmically' (economically), and 'wrho worke' (who work). While the writer attempts less common vocabulary, inaccuracies in spelling, morphology, and collocation cause noticeable difficulty for the reader and impede comprehension in several places, aligning with the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but control is weak, leading to frequent grammatical errors. Examples of inaccurate structures and non-standard syntax include 'cinemas are helps to preserve', 'give an unique experience', 'due to the it's convinent and accecible', and 'is helps individual economicaly'. Punctuation is also problematic, with misplaced commas and fragments. These frequent errors disrupt the flow and indicate a lack of reliable command over complex structures, reflecting a Band 4.5 performance.
