Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, coming in at only 134 words. This severely limits the development of ideas. While the prompt introduces both views and attempts to give a personal position ('I strongly believe that the both view on merit'), the arguments are extremely underdeveloped and fragmented. For instance, the discussion on why cinemas are losing value mentions YouTube and social media, but these points are repetitive and lack elaboration or specific examples. Similarly, the counter-argument regarding jobs and culture is reduced to a single incomplete sentence ('On the other hand I believe that still cinema is important for jobs and money ao social expiriance'). Because the response is significantly under-length and lacks fully developed arguments, it falls into the lower band categories.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The organizational structure of the text is severely compromised by its brevity and poor paragraphing. The introduction is poorly linked, and the body paragraphs are disjointed and fragmented. Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, such as the abrupt transitions between sentences ('therefor cinemas are no longer . On the other hand...'). Paragraphing is not used effectively; the text reads more like a collection of isolated, broken thoughts rather than a cohesive essay. Referencing and logical progression are weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow a clear line of argument from the introduction through the body to a conclusion.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.5

The vocabulary used is very basic and repetitive, reflecting a limited range suitable for this task. Words like 'important', 'people', and 'social media' are repeated frequently without variation. There are noticeable lexical errors and inappropriate word choices, such as 'reduce value' instead of 'reduced value', 'ao' instead of 'and', and 'expiriance' instead of 'experience'. The attempt to use less common vocabulary is minimal, and the lexical limitations, combined with spelling and word-formation errors, occasionally impede communication and restrict the score to this band level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The grammatical range is extremely limited, consisting mostly of simple and attempted complex sentences that are heavily flawed. There are frequent and severe grammatical errors throughout the text, such as missing articles, incorrect verb forms ('issue of has become'), and incomplete sentence structures ('I strongly believe that the both view on merit'). Punctuation and capitalization are also poorly handled, with spaces before punctuation marks and missing terminal punctuation. These persistent errors cause significant difficulty for the reader and mean that error-free sentences are rare, aligning the performance with Band 4.0 descriptors.
