Theatres and Cinemas, play important role in the term of entertainment of people and they also play an aconomical as well as cultural role in there life, nowadays people can watch anything on there phones when ever they want.

First of all, technology has been improved significatly over the past few decades, everyone who has an mobile phone or an computer can easily acess to any kind of content whenever he is feeling bored, phones are the common example which everyone used in thier daily life, it is also an great source of entertainment, people can watch movies dramas, tv shows on thier mobile phone, there is no fix timing for people to use these and they can watch anything anywhere they want, it is more easy to carry than other devices. the only disadvantage of this is that the screen is too small and it is only for a single person.

But on the other hand, Cinemas or theatres have a lot pf advantages as well as disadvantages to, in cenimas or threater the screen is very huge and there is a perfect envirment for watch a movie and there has been also an facality of snacks like popcorns, drinks and etc. but beside these advantages there are also some disadvantages like the timing the movie selection, and the lack of food variety. these are the some draws backs but still these cinemas and threater are a good source of social gathering and social intraction you can find people of your same movie intrest,

in conclusion, cenimas are great source of entertainment of people but they are a big outdated, phones or laptops provide a great comfort as compare to the cinemas and threater, these cinemas should give more comfort to their customer

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the view that theatres and cinemas are no longer important due to online entertainment and the counter-argument regarding their economic and cultural significance. A personal opinion is also provided, particularly in the conclusion. However, the ideas are relatively basic and lack full development. For instance, the discussion on mobile phones focuses heavily on screen size and portability rather than exploring deeper socio-cultural shifts. The points raised in the second and third body paragraphs remain somewhat superficial and tend to over-generalise. While the prompt is adequately covered to meet the core requirements, the lack of extended, sophisticated argumentation places this performance firmly at Band 6.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the response into an introduction, body paragraphs addressing different perspectives, and a conclusion. However, paragraphing and sentence boundaries are poorly managed. The entire first paragraph is a massive run-on sentence separated only by commas, which disrupts the logical flow. Cohesive devices are either missing or rudimentary, with excessive reliance on commas to link clauses where full stops or transition markers should be used. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'there' instead of 'their'. Although the progression of ideas can be followed, the mechanical flaws in cohesion and paragraph structure prevent the essay from achieving a higher band, resulting in a score of 5.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, touching upon relevant topics such as 'entertainment', 'technology', 'social gathering', and 'outdated'. However, there are frequent spelling errors ('aconomical', 'there life', 'significatly', 'an mobile phone', 'acess', 'thier', 'cenimas', 'threater', 'envirment', 'facality', 'intraction') and word-choice inaccuracies ('fixed timing', 'draws backs'). These errors do not completely impede communication, as the reader can still understand the intended meaning, but they occur with enough frequency to restrict the lexical score to Band 5.0. To progress, the student needs to significantly improve spelling accuracy and incorporate less common lexical items with correct collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though complex structures are frequently faulty. A major issue throughout the response is the prevalence of comma splices, such as in 'everyone who has an mobile phone or an computer can easily acess to any kind of content whenever he is feeling bored, phones are the common example...' There are also frequent errors with articles ('an aconomical', 'an great source') and prepositions. While the writer attempts to construct longer sentences to explain ideas, grammatical control is weak, and punctuation is frequently misused. These persistent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader, aligning the performance with the Band 5 descriptors.
