Student answer (Band 5.5)
Threatres and cinemas are still essentional for both economically and culturally; thoughts of some people. While some think in this modern and digital age internet access is enough for entertainment like movies and stage dramas. In my opinion, Theatres and cinemas are are vital culturally as well as for economy.
Before some years majority of people enjoyed to watch movies in cinemas and stage shows in theatres which was increasing the industries revenue and supporting economy of country. Furthermore, it was also promoting cultures of society in theatres. Many plays was related to fun, old stories, famous persnalities, well-established Business owners, martyrs etc which was creating vision in youth, many of the childrens of age between eight to fifteen was liking it very much. But online entertainment ruined it which also effected economy of nation caused unemployement from industry and other stock-shares loss.
As the internet become easy to access, the entertainment industry specially theatres experienced huge decrese in number of their viewers. Now a days, every person has online movie platform subscriptions like netflix, amazon etc are provinding movies, plays, documentries, fun, magic shows etc all-in-one. Moreover, People have home theatres in there houses and this is saving there money and time but losses cultural values. From small screen device like mobile phones to huge screen people can watch anything with the connection of internet. In results, the youth has the feeling of being alone and introverts.
In my view, the theatres and cinemas both are still important and recommeded to remember nations culture and supporting economy. The state should promotes the theatres and cinemas trend in youth my taking them to advance modernizations like 3D or 4D visuals in cinemas.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The student addresses both views regarding the importance of theatres and cinemas versus online entertainment, and provides a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on economic and cultural impacts relies on generalized statements rather than fully extended arguments. Phrases like "online entertainment ruined it which also effected economy of nation caused unemployement" lack detailed support. Despite these underdeveloped sections, all parts of the prompt are covered, aligning the response with a Band 5.5 to 6.0 level. Because the ideas are presented and a position is maintained throughout, a band score of 6.0 is appropriate.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure separating the introduction, the two differing views, and the conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty or mechanical. Logical transitions between sentences are sometimes weak, such as jumping abruptly in the second paragraph from economic impacts to youth engagement without a smooth connective link. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, as seen in the phrase "which was creating vision in youth." Paragraphing is present and attempts to separate distinct themes, but overall progression can feel disjointed due to phrasing and punctuation issues. This level of organization and cohesive control corresponds to a Band 5.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as "essential," "documentries," and "modernizations." However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including "Threatres" instead of "theatres," "essentional," "decrese," and "provinding." Collocations are sometimes awkward, as in "supporting economy" or "stock-shares loss." While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey the main arguments, the persistent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms prevent the response from achieving a higher band score. These characteristics fit the Band 5.0 descriptors well.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical accuracy is weak. There are frequent errors in verb tense, subject-verb agreement, and articles, such as "Many plays was related," "the internet become easy," and "in there houses." Punctuation errors also occur, such as double spacing and missing commas. Complex structures are often faulty, leading to sentences that require effort from the reader to parse, such as "The state should promotes the theatres and cinemas trend in youth my taking them to advance modernizations." These issues place the grammatical performance firmly at a Band 5.0 level.
