Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people say that theatres and cinemas are no longer singnificant as people can watch all the entertainment they want online in the modern era. Others claim that theaters and cinemas are still vital both financially and culturally.
Nowadays, people can watch TV series, Drama, Films, movies on internet with paying money by digital payment system. Some people do not want to go outside for watching movies rather they would watch those from different types apps with creating account including Netflix,Amazonprime. However, people adopted using social media platform and, they receive entertainment easily from it. After inventing entertainment software, people do not provide enough value to theatres and cinemas.
SIgnificantly, theatres and cinemas are valuable in every country. theatres creates a good environment that all people enjoy movie without scrolling mobile phone.Because when a person watch any entertaining program at home they become distracted by other thing.if we can not save our theatres and cinemas then it would not exist for next generation as well as people would not encourage to others for becoming a theater's member. Additionally, our country earns money from theatres by taking tax and other expense. So, we would progress our country earning from it.Furthermore, culture would lose from next generation without theatres and cinema. Theatres play a vital role for keeping culture in our country.
From my perspective, people should go to theatres for receiving entertainment and saving our culture. We could be financially developing country by earning money fromtheatres.Goverment should inspire people to watch theatres movie and, they would be more socialize.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the view that theatres and cinemas are no longer important due to online entertainment and the counter-view that they remain economically and culturally vital. You also provide your own clear position in the final paragraph. However, the ideas are relatively basic and under-developed, relying on repetitive arguments rather than deep exploration or extended examples. For instance, you mention economic and cultural benefits, but you do not elaborate on how this actually occurs beyond basic statements like "our country earns money from theatres by taking tax." These limitations place your task achievement score at a Band 5.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
There is a basic logical organisation, with an introduction, body paragraphs discussing the opposing views, and a concluding opinion. However, the progression is sometimes halting because of weak or mechanical cohesive devices (e.g., starting multiple sentences with "Nowadays," "However," or "Additionally" without smooth transitions). Paragraphing is attempted, but some paragraphs contain abrupt shifts in focus. Furthermore, referencing is occasionally unclear, such as "if we can not save our theatres... it would not exist," where the pronoun reference is confused. These features correspond to a Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, such as the repeated use of "theatres and cinemas," "entertainment," and "money." There are noticeable spelling and word choice errors, including "singnificant" instead of significant, "with paying money" instead of by paying money, and "movies movie." You attempt some less common lexical items like "economically and culturally" and "digital payment system," but inaccuracies in collocation and form (e.g., "becoming a theater's member," "more socialize") restrict the range and precision. Communication is maintained, but the limitations align closely with a Band 5.0 descriptor.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, though attempts at complex structures frequently contain grammatical errors. Examples include conditional and hypothetical errors ("if we can not save our theatres and cinemas then it would not exist") and punctuation or conjunction issues ("platforms and, they receive"). There are frequent errors in verb tense consistency, articles, and prepositions (e.g., "from internet," "at home they become distracted by other thing"). While the meaning remains generally understandable, the high frequency of grammatical slips prevents the score from reaching a Band 6.0, fitting a solid Band 5.0.
