Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views required by the prompt—that theatres are obsolete due to online streaming, and that they remain economically and culturally important. You also present a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and lacks depth. For instance, your example of watching a Bollywood star like SRK is brief and somewhat conversational. Similarly, the reference to the action movie 'dhundrander' is unclear and poorly integrated, which prevents the response from reaching higher bands. To improve, you should extend your arguments with more fully explained, relevant real-world examples rather than personal anecdotes or vague references.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

Your essay follows a recognisable four-paragraph structure with a clear introduction, body paragraphs addressing each viewpoint, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal shifts in perspective, such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand'. However, referencing and logical progression are sometimes faulty. For example, sentences like 'This business help the country grow economically and hence majority of income is generate from movie business' show awkward transitions. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion within your body paragraphs needs to be smoother to achieve a higher band score.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using terms like 'digital era', 'ott platforms', and 'blockbuster'. However, there are frequent word choice and collocation errors, such as 'people suggestion are', 'cultural value' instead of 'cultural values', and 'fasinative' instead of 'fascinated'. Spelling mistakes ('amzon', 'simlply', 'get successfull', 'relaity') and awkward phrasing occur throughout the text. While communication is not severely impeded, these noticeable lexical inaccuracies restrict your score to a band 5.5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical accuracy is weak. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'majority of income is generate'), tense usage ('eventually it get successfull'), and punctuation, particularly missing commas in introductory phrases and compound sentences. Run-on sentences and awkward syntax appear frequently (e.g., 'Because of the audience movie get the larger box office number...'). These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band.
