Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few people argues that, in the modern world no need of cinemas and theatres as they can watch online. while other believes that it is part of economy and culture. I my opinion, both views are necessary to grow the nation, and will examine the bothe views.
Firstly, the technology has evolved enormously in the world, many people using electronic devices like mobile phones, laptops and tablets. Even home theatre and big screen television is being used at homes, all of these has internet facility and subscription in platform like Netflix, Amazon prime, Youtube etc. . So, individuals prefer to watch at home with families are using these devices. For example, most of the residents have samsung wide screen OLED tv's around 98 inches which feels like watching in theatre or cinema. So, they like to watch onlie instead other traditional large screens. These also help in economy through profit to business by subscription, net connection and buying devices.
On the other hand, the traditional way of watching films is in theatre and cinemas. Many of the adults and seniors going out with families and friends to cinema halls in the digital era as well as the theatre providing dinning facilities which would help in generating revenue. For instance in India, IMAX theatre giving amenities of resturant while watching movie in the theatr, because of that premises is always full. Hence, the commerce is boosting through additional modification in theatres and the people also following the culture.
In conclusion, being living in the hi-tech world some of the person like to watch movies or serials online instead going to cinema centre. Whereas, other believes the theatre is the part of economy and nation culture. I believe that, both play crucial role in making money and maintaing culture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your response addresses both views regarding the future of cinemas versus online streaming and provides your own opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive in places. For example, your introduction states 'I my opinion, both views are necessary to grow the nation, and will examine the bothe views,' which is slightly mechanical. Furthermore, your conclusion mentions 'both play crucial role in making money and maintaing culture,' which captures the prompt's themes of economic and cultural impact, but the support lacks depth. While you attempt to explain both sides by mentioning platforms like Netflix and features of modern IMAX theatres, the analysis remains somewhat superficial, touching upon Band 6 descriptors where relevant ideas are present but under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs, following a standard structure with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You make use of basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to signal the progression of your ideas. However, paragraphing and referencing are sometimes faulty, and transitions can feel mechanical. For instance, the sentence 'These also help in economy through profit to business by subscription, net connection and buying devices' suffers from unclear referencing of the pronoun 'These'. Additionally, punctuation errors around linking words disrupt the overall flow. Overall, the arrangement is coherent enough to follow, matching the Band 6 profile.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt to use a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including terms like 'subscription,' 'revenue,' 'amenities,' and 'commerce.' However, there are numerous word choice and spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'argues' instead of 'argue,' 'bothe' instead of 'both,' 'onlie' instead of 'only,' 'dinning' instead of 'dining,' 'resturant' instead of 'restaurant,' and 'maintaing' instead of 'maintaining.' While these errors do not completely impede communication, they noticeably restrict the precision of your vocabulary and prevent you from reaching a higher band. The lexical range is adequate for the task, fitting the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Your writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but it is heavily impacted by frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('Few people argues that'), missing verbs ('in the modern world no need of cinemas'), and incorrect prepositions ('instead going to cinema centre'). You also struggle with article usage ('in theatre and cinemas', 'theatre is the part of economy'). Although you manage to construct some complex sentences, the frequency of basic structural errors causes difficulty for the reader at times, aligning closely with the Band 5 descriptors.
