IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say that in the digital age, theatres and cinemas are no longer important as people can watch all the entertainment they want online. Others argue that theatres and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
I aggree with 2nd openion that is theatres and cinema are important for community. it is an important part of our society that present one countrie's culture.
Acting is an art , by using this art actor play different role in which he represents its community. He shows how our community behave in different senerios. Some time he plays sad role, smetime arrogant. Through this way he keeps his culture alive.To learn and enjoy these moments pople love to go to theatres and cinimas.
Cinema is attractive because of some reasons one is larg screen and other is food refreshment. Sometime real stars also come for his film inauguration. They also meet to the people for their motivation. After seening complete film people adop the trends and culture presented in the film.
With respect to social point of view it is very good social activity that is saparate from daily routine.Such changes make your boday and brain a new power and positivity thats leads to creativity.
It is not limited to enjoy but also contribute in country economy.Allover the world it plays a mjor part in the economy.It creat number of jobs for the people. A large number of people earn their livelihood from this sector.
On the other end many people use computer for viewing films and dramas. It is economical than cinema. Film is on one click away rather to go cinema. No doubt it creats threat on the

Digital age is not big threat for theater and cinema as much as people think beacuse a large group like social activities .
