On the one hand ,some people thinks that theatres are not important because they are able to watch everything online because of new mobile-apps ,internet, and spend less money. To explain it ,in today's era , development of internet ,individuals access to watch movies ,shows online on new apps and they do not need to spend money again and again on tickets , they can buy monthly or weekly membership on app to get free access watch movies any time. That not only saves their money but also time of travel from home to threaters. For example , i bought a suscription of netfalix in $9 for month and i watched all episodes of money heist at time every night for week when i was free and i enjoyed it alot .Therefore, most of citizens prefer to watch all these enertainment things online to save money an time of travel. In addition , residents have option to watch anything according to their mood and choice at any time with the help of internet and smartphone ,they don't need to do wait ,when new project starts in cinemas.

On the other hand ,other multitudes believes that theatres and cinemas still have a essential role in the economy and culture of society becuase of multiple reasons .First, old generation do not know how to use mobilephone ,internet and new apps ,thats why they like to watch family based movies in cinemas.Second , today's time , everyone is busy in their work and family life and sometimes all memebers of family make plan to get together to enjoy their time with each others and they went to watch movies outside .In this way , they buy tickets and put econoically support in socity. Moreover, elders encourage their kids to go with them in movie houses to watch religious movies ,so they not only stay contacted with roots of their culture and religion but also make memories with their grandparents.therefore , some residents trust that theatres have a importance in todays era too.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views (digital streaming vs. traditional theatres/cinemas) and providing a clear personal opinion. The student's position is maintained throughout the essay. Ideas are extended and supported, such as mentioning the cost benefits of subscriptions like Netflix and the cultural/family bonding aspects of going to the cinema. However, there is a tendency to over-generalise and some arguments, like the older generation's technology usage, are slightly repetitive or under-developed. Examples such as personal Netflix subscription costs are included, but overall depth aligns well with Band 6.0 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure, including an introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. There are numerous punctuation and spacing errors (e.g., spaces before commas, missing capital letters at the start of sentences), and referencing is occasionally unclear. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand' are used, but overall sentence flow is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and run-on structures. Paragraphing is present, but internal cohesion requires better management, placing this in the Band 5.0 range.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'paramount', 'economic', and 'subscription'. However, there are noticeable word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors that detract from the writing (e.g., 'plateforms for enjoy', 'noteable value', 'econoically support', 'socity'). Words are sometimes incorrectly formed or used in wrong grammatical slots, such as 'trust that theatres have a importance'. While communication is not heavily impeded and the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of lexical inaccuracies caps the score at Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response shows a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex clauses with varying degrees of success. There are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, including missing articles, subject-verb agreement issues (e.g., 'other belives', 'old generation do not know'), and run-on sentences. Punctuation is particularly weak, with spaces appearing before punctuation marks and sentences starting in lowercase. Although the writer can construct understandable sentences, the density of errors causes noticeable difficulty for the reader and prevents the response from reaching Band 6.0.
