CInemas and theatres plays a vital role in society. In this era, people mostly prefer to stay alone they avoid gatherings, they feel nervous amoung others that plays a role thst deattaches them with the society. They prefer to stay at home and watch movies or shows there.

On the other hand, people who believe cinemas are still important loves the company of other. They love gathering ,they enjoy in the company of others.

Cinemas do play a vital role in the society as the people who go to cinemas or theatres can learn a lot about things that are being displayed there. If the things that are displayed there are not ethical or morrally good that will destory the thinking of youth. As its a saying "what you see you will become".

There can also be other reasons why cinemas are important.People gather around and watch the same thing this will help them connect with people that have the same interest as them. They can talk with them build connections and can make friends.People really like to interact with the ones that have the same interest as them they can talk to them for hours .In this way they can have an active social life. When people connect with each other new ideas will be born and thats how a society will grow.

People who come to cinemas are interactive.I once went to a cinema and found a bunch of peeps who are interested in the same things as i am.That day i made a lot of friends. The ones i feel like i can talk about my favourite things to nthem with.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response attempts to discuss both views regarding the importance of theatres and cinemas in the digital age, as well as providing a personal opinion, which aligns with the requirements of an academic task 2 essay. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For instance, the discussion on social interaction and meeting people is reiterated across multiple sentences without bringing in broader economic or cultural perspectives, which are explicitly mentioned in the prompt. The position is discernible, but the overall extension and support of ideas fit best at Band 5.0, where ideas are somewhat under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The essay lacks proper paragraphing conventions, presenting a block of short, disconnected paragraphs that fail to structure the argument effectively. Cohesive devices are minimal and sometimes inaccurate or missing entirely, resulting in choppy transitions between sentences and ideas. For example, sentences like 'In this era, people mostly prefer to stay alone they avoid gatherings...' lack proper punctuation and linking. Referencing is also unclear at times. The overall organisation shows some basic progression of thought, but the faulty cohesion and lack of standard paragraphing place this response firmly at Band 4.5 to 5.0.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, utilizing everyday terms such as 'vital role', 'stay at home', and 'same interest'. There are noticeable word-choice errors, such as 'morrally' instead of 'morally', 'destory' instead of 'destroy', and 'peeps' instead of 'people' or 'peers'. While the meaning can generally be followed, the lexical range is limited and minimally adequate for the task, preventing the score from rising above Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The text contains a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and frequent run-on sentences caused by comma splices, such as 'Cinemas and theatres plays a vital role in society. In this era, people mostly prefer to stay alone they avoid gatherings...' Furthermore, there are basic agreement errors like 'theatres plays' instead of 'play'. Attempts at complex sentences are scarce, and punctuation errors are widespread throughout the response. These frequent grammatical errors cause some difficulty for the reader and reflect a Band 4.5 level.
