Student answer (Band 5.0)
In modern era of technology, Although some people prefer to watch movie and videos online rather than cinemas, we cannot forget the importance of cinemas both economcally and culturally. From my percepective digital resources are easy accessible and we can enjoy it according to our desire both pros and cons goes side by side but watching online is preferrable and easy to used for everyone.
As we live in the age of dgitial media it become easy for anyone to entertain themselves through social media platefarm. In traditional system people prefer to watch movie and film in cinemas but emerging research trends have bee changed and it becom suitable for individuals to watch what they want at any time from anywere so importance of theatres and cinemas declined with the passage of time as internet resourcing increased. Artficial intelligence, block chain, data science, machine learning set some algorithim according to desire of platefarm that automate the required data within the second with efficiently. It has been observed that now-a-days most of people prefer to watch new movie on youtube and some other platefarm like netflex in this way trends of cinemas and theatres changed
On the other hand, Theatres and cinemas are still important both economically and culturally. Some people do not afford online platefarm like digital infrastructure, devices and internet connection they prefers cinemas and theatres for the enjoyment purpose it also depend on the culture.
I think it should be easy and best for the people to use internet resources and digital rather than cinemas and theatres, with the passage of time emerging research trends have changed so, it also save qulity of time of individuals they can enjoy at any time when they want
Overall, Most of the people in digital age used to watch online movie at their cell phone which provide the facilities of independent location while, on the other hands some peole cannot afford online infrastructure

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response attempts to discuss both views regarding the importance of cinemas in the digital age and gives a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat disjointed. The writer touches upon online streaming platforms and traditional cinemas, but the arguments remain repetitive and underdeveloped, particularly in the body paragraphs where irrelevant technical terms like 'artificial intelligence, block chain, data science' are introduced without clear contextual relevance to the debate. The position is stated but lacks deep elaboration, placing this response firmly in Band 5.5 for task achievement as it addresses the prompt only partially and lacks fully supported ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some overall organization with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, yet there is a lack of smooth progression. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively, such as starting multiple sentences with 'From my percepective' or 'On the other hand'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and punctuation errors disrupt the logical flow of ideas. For example, run-on sentences like 'In modern era of technology, Although some people prefer to watch movie and videos online rather than cinemas...' hinder smooth reading. Paragraphing is present, but internal logical transitions require significant improvement, aligning with a Band 5.0 descriptor.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The lexical resource is limited and heavily impacted by numerous spelling and word-choice errors, such as 'economcally', 'percepective', 'accessible', 'dgitial', 'platefarm', 'netflex', and 'qulity'. While the student attempts less common vocabulary such as 'infrastructure', 'automation', and 'independent location', these terms are often used inaccurately or inappropriately in context. The vocabulary is adequate for basic communication, but frequent lexical inaccuracies and spelling mistakes prevent the score from reaching Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar is weak. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, such as 'emerging research trends have bee changed and it becom suitable', missing articles ('in modern era'), and faulty punctuation including comma splices and run-on sentences. These structural inaccuracies frequently cause difficulty for the reader and obscure meaning, resulting in a Band 5.0 score for grammatical range and accuracy.
