In this eassy i will discuss both views in upcoming paragraphs along with my opinion.

Commencing with the manifold factors which justifies that why threatres and cinemas are no longer to watch by people. The most paramount reason is that online entertainment is more convenience. To explain it, people can watch films, concerts and shows at anytime of the day also it saves money of travelling to cinema. Also online platforms provide a huge variety of content and individual can watch according to their interests. Beside this, modern technolgy has improved the video quality , large screen and affordable subscriptions which make people to enjoy the films at home rather than visiting traditional entertainment venues.

However, in these days, threatres and cinemas are still play a significant role in todays life. Primarily, providing employment opportunities to public because people get work in film to produce it such as technicians, managers and workers to provide better picture to public as well as aside business can also open with like resturants, shops and transport services which aid people to get job and uplift the economy of the country. Last but not least, cutural values also interchanged with this rather than sitting at home and watch entertainment films because when people visit cinemas they share experiences and interact with other audiences and performers.

In conclusion, although threates and cinemas are more conviences and time saving on online platforms to watch yet traditional entertainment venues are valuable beacuse it provide employment and culture values.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that cinemas are obsolete and that they remain economically and culturally important—and provides a clear personal opinion. The ideas are generally relevant, though some arguments are a bit repetitive or under-developed. For instance, the discussion on economic benefits touches on employment and surrounding businesses, but lacks specific examples or deeper extension. Similarly, the cultural aspect is introduced but remains somewhat superficial. However, the writer maintains a consistent position throughout, ensuring the prompt is adequately answered, placing the response comfortably within the Band 6 territory.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement and follows a clear four-paragraph structure comprising an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices are employed, such as 'Commencing with', 'However', and 'In conclusion', although some referencing is faulty or mechanical, such as 'The certain individual' and 'in these days'. Furthermore, transitional phrases occasionally feel a bit template-driven rather than naturally integrated into the text. Despite these minor cohesive flaws, the logical progression is generally maintained throughout the response, satisfying the requirements for Band 6.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common items such as 'paramount', 'affordable subscriptions', and 'employment opportunities'. However, there are notable spelling errors and word-choice inaccuracies throughout the text, including 'threatres' instead of theatres, 'avaliability', 'eassy', 'convenience' used as an adjective instead of 'convenient', and 'interchanged'. These errors occasionally distract the reader, though they do not severely impede communication. Because the lexical control falls short of Band 7 due to persistent spelling and morphological slips, a score of 6.0 is most appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating attempts at relative clauses and multi-clause sentences. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'The certain individual believe', 'threatres and cinemas are the least priority by people', 'are no longer to watch by people', and 'because it provide employment'. Punctuation is also weak in places, with comma splices and missing periods. While these errors do not completely obscure the meaning, they are persistent enough to prevent the writing from achieving a Band 6.0, landing the grammatical accuracy more securely at Band 5.0.
