Student answer (Band 5.0)
Now a days , people are watching more movies in their free time, however, some people believe that this is the advance era,so many people perfer to watch the intresting videos online instead of going to cinepax or movie watching areas while others believes , watching movies in cinemas give them more pleasure, according to my point of view watching enterainment show online is more preferable then going outside. In this easy, i will discuss both postive and negtive side of given statement.
On the one hand if we view movies and other things online it save alot of our money as well as time instead of going outside, it is better to watch them in house . For example ,if we go outside just for watching lush movies, we must have to buy tickets from that store that would cause a lose of alot of money because we have to buy not only one ticket but for all the members that are with us.
Secondly , so many people are tired from thier long weekend work they want to relax at home,by viewing some attractive things, that are only possible within out apartment areas for example if we go outside we must have to prepared for that before going that some people dont like to again organized them self on the vaccation time ,so they prefer to stay at home by using digital media they enjoy more then going outside.
On the other hand , if we go out side to for refreshing our mind in cinemas we must have to take extra time for that ,as a result ,we will lose so much extra time that we can use in best things ,like home work or office work .secondly we must have to wait for long for a specific time to make a plane for going out side ,but in home we can easily search any thing that we want to watch within a second without any pause
However, some young generations are so energize they always prefer to visit theatres beacuse every person have their own periorites, some individuals want to spend time with thier friends so they someone more special that are not possible in house, for example if a boy want to take his girlfriend to a date and they want to spend some time alone with each other with a loving movemnets . so, they always prefer to choose those places ,that are far away their home .
In conclusion , digital media made our life so easily to access every thing online but majority of people, still love to go outside for entertainment purposes, but accroding to my point of view watching media online is the best way to save time as well as money so that we will spend more time with our family members .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that digital media makes physical cinemas obsolete and that they remain economically and culturally important—while also providing a clear personal opinion. The writer's position is maintained throughout the essay. However, the ideas are somewhat repetitive and lack the depth expected for a higher band. For instance, the arguments regarding saving time and money are restated in multiple paragraphs without introducing fresh dimensions or concrete broader examples. This corresponds to the Band 6 descriptor, where all parts of the task are addressed, but some ideas tend to be under-developed or circular.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an overall arrangement of ideas. However, paragraphing and logical progression are frequently undermined by poor sentence boundaries, excessive comma splices, and run-on sentences (e.g., 'Now a days , people are watching more movies in their free time, however, some people believe that this is the advance era...'). Cohesive devices are used, but they are often basic or mechanically applied ('On the one hand', 'Secondly', 'On the other hand'). Referencing can also be unclear, making it difficult to follow the logical flow at times. This reflects the characteristics of Band 5, where there is some organization and paragraphing, but overall progression is hindered by faulty cohesion and punctuation.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing the student to express basic ideas about digital media and cinemas. There are several attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'digital media', 'entertainment purposes', and 'economically and culturally' (implied through context), but these are accompanied by noticeable spelling errors ('intresting', 'cinepax', 'postive', 'negtive', 'periorites', 'accroding') and awkward word choices ('lush movies', 'vaccation time'). These lexical errors and awkward collocations cause some strain for the reader and reflect a limited, minimally adequate range fitting a Band 5 descriptor.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but control over grammar and punctuation is weak. The text is heavily reliant on comma splices, missing capitalization, and incorrect article usage (e.g., 'in this easy, i will discuss', 'at home,by viewing some attractive things, that are only possible within out apartment areas'). Furthermore, there are frequent errors in verb forms, prepositions, and sentence fragments that cause difficulty for the reader and obscure meaning in places. Because complex sentences are frequently faulty and basic grammatical rules are overlooked, this performance aligns closely with Band 4 descriptors.
