to begine with, watching movies on internet. First and foremost, online platforms are cheap and individuals can easy buy and watch movies although is has lots of benifits such as, it is more covinent, more reliable and people can esaily watch movi any where even in bust ,tain and care as well.To to illustrete, if person want watche movi but he has note enough time for viset cinema so he buy a subscription of any online platform and enjoy the movies although on internet has lote of frees movies eventhough latest movies are available for free. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that cinemas are unimportant due to online streaming, and that they remain culturally and economically significant—while also providing the writer's own opinion. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on online platforms relies heavily on repetitive claims of being 'cheap' and 'convenient' without extending into deeper analytical arguments. Similarly, the economic and cultural points are superficially addressed. Examples provided, such as watching movies in a bus or train, are simple and lack depth. This places the response firmly in Band 5, where the task is addressed, but ideas remain underdeveloped and somewhat limited.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay demonstrates some basic organization with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, satisfying the basic requirements of structure. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and paragraphing is poorly executed, notably seen in the second body paragraph starting with a lowercase letter and lacking a clear topic sentence fragment ('to begine with, watching movies on internet'). Cohesive devices are frequently inaccurate, repetitive, or inadequate, such as the excessive use of 'although', 'and', and 'firstely'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and sentences are often strung together awkwardly without logical bridges. This aligns with the Band 5 descriptor where organisation is present, but progression is lacking and cohesive devices are faulty.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic, repetitive, and limited, showing frequent spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples of misspelled words include 'Mnay', 'modren', 'theraters', 'enssical', 'becouse', 'release', 'segnificant', 'enconomical', 'exprince', 'wathch', 'movi', 'begine', 'covinent', 'esaily', 'bust', 'tain', 'care', 'illustrete', 'watche', 'viset', 'lote', 'frees', 'tottely', 'aproch', 'nad', and 'towareds'. While the student attempts some less common vocabulary items such as 'pocket friendly', 'subscription', and 'advertising', the density of basic lexical errors and limited range prevents the score from rising higher. This matches the Band 4 descriptor where basic, repetitive vocabulary and frequent errors strain the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The essay exhibits a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying primarily on simple sentences and flawed attempts at complex ones. Punctuation and capitalization are weak throughout the text (e.g., starting sentences with lowercase letters, missing periods, comma splices). Grammatical errors are highly frequent, including subject-verb agreement errors ('movies are release', 'person want watche', 'government has take a tax'), missing articles ('in nation economi', 'show nation cultural'), and incorrect verb forms ('watch online moves are pocket frendly, but the exprince wathch movi'). These persistent errors frequently distort meaning and cause difficulty for the reader, placing the response at Band 4.
