Student answer (Band 4.5)
Now these days social media plays a vital role.Everybody busy in their heavy work places thats why they preferred watch a movie online instead of chinema.I think it is time taking process so its smart way to save time and have fun, but if we are talk about behalf of going chinema is helpful for our country and also have different experience.
Firsty, Social media helps people in their every situation, these can find every thing on it. They are watch movies according to their mood and time in which no bounderies or limit and one of the best benifits its almost the free of cost. You can use some websites and search on it then you can enjoy with your friends, family and alone, its only up to you.
For instance,i dont like movies but if i m bored i watched movie and comedy show on youtube and netflix because that time i can not go to cinema for entertainment. you can mange your studies, work and houseworks and enjoy also at the same time.
Secondly, it has also a negative side people specially youngsters are highly used of these harmfull websites and goes in restricted area. they are use their electronic gadets alone no one have to stop them and they are forget their limits. they are addicted to these stuff and stay away from studies.
On the other hand, before the awarness of social media, everyone use cinemas and theaters for watching movies and stages dramas .it is proper process firstly you can buy a tickt then you can watch movie.its also a different and amazing experience and some of time actors are also promote their movies in chinema and lucky peoples meet them.
Therefore, our state action on the condition of cinemas and theaters and also provide stress free enviroment and introduced online ticket system even save their time.
In my personal experience, when i was child i wish to see a cinema but my parents dont want to go there after request they bring me and i was experienced of cinema thats was intresting but where too much noise and ti e taking process firstly a long que was there and after so long we buy a ticket and watch a movie cinema are very old and they need some renovation and that was my last experience.i fell sick there.
In conclusion, the government should improve the condition of cinema and theater and provide facilities to peoples and manage their costs of tickets and food as well, and also set the boundries of websites and dont allow everything on social media.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the view that online entertainment replaces cinemas and the economic/cultural arguments for physical theatres, while also offering a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and at times tangential, particularly in paragraphs focusing on personal anecdotes or digital dangers rather than the direct economic and cultural impacts. While the writer attempts to support their position, several arguments are under-developed, resulting in a somewhat confused progression of thought. Consequently, the task is addressed, but more fully in some areas than others, aligning well with the Band 5 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently disrupted by abrupt transitions and non-standard paragraphing. Cohesive devices are often used inaccurately or repetitively, such as 'Firsty' and 'Secondly', which fail to create smooth links between ideas. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, making it difficult to follow the progression of arguments from sentence to sentence. While there is an overall attempt to structure the essay into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, the lack of effective cohesion and paragraph management places this response securely at Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on available increments, or simply a weak Band 5 due to basic organisation.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent misspellings and incorrect word forms throughout the text (e.g., 'chinema', 'awarness', 'enviroment', 'ti e'). The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'renovation' and 'economically', but these are overshadowed by pervasive errors in word choice and spelling that occasionally strain the reader. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate for expressing simple ideas, but lacks the flexibility and precision required for higher bands, reflecting the characteristics of a Band 4.0 to 4.5 performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and frequent run-on constructions or comma splices (e.g., 'Everybody busy in their heavy work places thats why they preferred watch a movie online instead of chinema'). Errors in tense, subject-verb agreement, and articles are persistent throughout the essay (e.g., 'these can find every thing on it', 'i dont like movies but if i m bored i watched movie'). These frequent errors and faulty complex structures cause noticeable difficulty for the reader and significantly impede communication at times, fitting the Band 4 descriptors.
