Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

The student has failed to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, as the response is only 132 words long and trails off abruptly at the end ('Secondly,'). This under-length severely restricts the student's ability to fully develop the required views or present a complete argument. While the introduction attempts to outline both perspectives and give an opinion ('Although Both view have valid arguments.I firmly belive that watchiing movies in theater and Cinemas had a best experineces to do'), the body paragraph only touches upon a personal viewing experience and lacks any discussion of the economic or cultural importance of cinemas as required by the prompt. Consequently, this leads to a low band score under Task Achievement.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

Coherence and cohesion are significantly hindered by the incomplete nature of the essay and faulty paragraphing. The essay contains a fragmented body paragraph and ends prematurely before the second point can be developed. While transitional markers such as 'firstly' and 'Secondly' are attempted, the overall logical organization breaks down due to missing sections and underdeveloped ideas. Referencing and cohesive devices are basic, and punctuation errors (such as missing spaces after periods and unnecessary commas) further disrupt the flow of the text, making the overall structure difficult to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The lexical resource is limited and basic. The student attempts some topic-related vocabulary such as 'theatres', 'cinemas', 'digital', 'OTT platforms', and 'entertainment', but these are overshadowed by frequent spelling and word choice errors. Examples include 'aurged' for argued, 'watchiing' for watching, 'experineces' for experiences, and 'snaks' for snacks. Capitalization errors are also prevalent throughout the text (e.g., 'While Individuals', 'Culturally'). The range of vocabulary is inadequate for a higher band, as it is repetitive and contains noticeable errors that impede clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response displays a very limited range of grammatical structures with frequent errors that impede comprehension. Simple sentences dominate, and attempts at complex structures are flawed, such as in the opening sentence: 'it is often aurged that , While Individuals think that theatres and cinemas are now digital beacuse people can watch films on OTT platforms.' Subject-verb agreement issues are present (e.g., 'Both view have'), along with tense inconsistencies ('had a best experineces') and faulty relative clauses ('everyone who are present there'). Punctuation and capitalization control are weak throughout the submission.
