In this digital era, watching online content for entertainment purpose is now popular habits among people as they think it is better option for indulge them in entertaining than going to cinemas whereas some critics argue that theatres and cinemas are playing a crucial role both economically and culturally. Both notions are its own significances and i will discuss both views in upcoming paragraphs.

To begin with mobile or online entertainment people support this feature due to numerous factors. The major factor behind this is flexibility of this technology. To explicate it, every person wants entertainment according to their interests and timing. This way of entertainment can provide various contents which can play according to us. Another benefit is related to its affordability, people who not want to spend their hard earned money to buy cinemas tickets, they might be able to get a cost effective entertainment on their mobile phone or TV's.

Towards shifting advantages of cinemas and theatres this is regularlly continuning from older times where people was gathering together to watch movies and shows and make memories together which may not possible on large scale in online entertainment. Also the bigger screen gives a fantastic experience of watching movies where people can feel rea life experiences. In addition to it, cinemas are contributing major role in every country's economy. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the view that digital entertainment online has replaced cinemas and the view that theatres and cinemas remain economically and culturally important. Furthermore, the writer provides their own opinion in the conclusion. Ideas are relevant, such as mentioning flexibility and affordability for online viewing, and memory-making and economic contributions for cinemas. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and lacks specific examples or depth. For instance, the economic contribution of cinemas is mentioned broadly without concrete illustration. This places the response comfortably at Band 6, where all parts are addressed, but some areas feel under-developed or general.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with clear paragraphing, moving logically from an introduction to body paragraphs handling each perspective, and finally a brief conclusion. Cohesive devices are used to signal progression, such as 'To begin with' and 'Towards shifting advantages'. However, referencing and cohesion are sometimes faulty or mechanical. For example, the phrase 'Both notions are its own significances' contains grammatical awkwardness, and the transition into the third paragraph feels abrupt ('Towards shifting advantages of cinemas and theatres this is regularlly continuning...'). Paragraph internal progression is visible, but referencing links can be repetitive and clumsy at times, which aligns with the Band 6 descriptors.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'affordability', 'cost effective', and 'implications'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. Phrases like 'entertainment purpose is now popular habits', 'for indulge them', and 'make expenses on meals' demonstrate a lack of precision. Additionally, spelling errors such as 'regularlly' and 'continuning' appear in the text. While these lexical errors do not impede overall communication, they prevent the response from achieving a higher band, making Band 5.5 or 6.0 appropriate. Given the successful communication of basic concepts, a Band 6.0 is justified.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating relative clauses and conditional structures. However, grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions, such as 'people was gathering', 'which may not possible', 'people who not want', and 'both views are its own validities'. Punctuation is also problematic, particularly in run-on sentences like 'To explicate it, every person wants entertainment according to their interests and timing. This way of entertainment can provide various contents which can play according to us.' These errors frequently cause difficulty or hesitation for the reader, fitting the Band 5 descriptors where frequent errors persist in complex structures.
