In todays modern world, numerous people consider that theatres and cinemas are not valuable in future due to online system. While others argue that these are also crucial for enjoyment.
On the one hand, some individuals think that online entertainment is beneficial. because social media or other apps provide quick information additionally it is convenient for needed persons. Furthermore some persons are comfortable to waching web series alone so online platform is a good option for these people.
On the other hand, others believe that theatres and cinemas are also have positive view such as time spent with families. therefore if you want time with your family then malls are not a bad option. For example, if you and your family feels boring at home then you must go for a cinema with your family. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views and providing a personal opinion, but the execution remains partial. The position is expressed, yet it lacks consistent clarity throughout the essay. Ideas are limited and under-developed, relying heavily on basic generalisations rather than deep exploration. For instance, the discussion on online entertainment simply states that 'phones, laptops are suitable' without fully extending why this diminishes the value of physical venues. Similarly, the personal opinion focuses narrowly on childhood memories rather than wider economic and cultural factors mentioned in the prompt. To progress, the writer must ensure all parts of the task are fully elaborated with relevant explanations and supported examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is a clear attempt at organisation with identifiable paragraph breaks, but the overall progression lacks smooth logical flow. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the overuse of transitional words like 'Furthermore', 'Moreover', and 'In contrast' which do not always connect ideas logically. Referencing is occasionally unclear, making it hard to follow the exact relationship between sentences. For example, starting sentences abruptly with 'therefore' or 'beacuse' disrupts the natural information flow. To achieve a higher level, the writer needs to employ a wider range of cohesive devices more accurately and ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one without mechanical transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'generousnees', but this leads to noticeable errors in word form and spelling that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. Other lexical choices lack precision and repetition is evident, such as repeatedly using the word 'family' and 'people'. Collocations are basic, and words are sometimes chosen incorrectly for the context, as seen with 'feels boring' instead of 'feel bored'. To improve, the student should expand their range of vocabulary, pay closer attention to word forms and spelling, and select more precise terms suitable for an academic context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences or attempts at complex sentences that are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in verb forms, tenses, article usage, and punctuation which cause difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'if someone is want to watch movie', 'cinemas are also have positive view', and sentence fragments like 'because social media or other apps provide quick information additionally it is convenient'. Punctuation is also problematic, with incorrect capitalization and run-on structures. To move forward, the writer must work on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring subject-verb agreement, and reducing the frequency of grammatical errors in complex structures.
