with the help of digitalization, the importance of theaters and cinemas are reducing because people can enjoy movies, webseries and other entertainments on online websites. whereas, some people believe that significance of Cinemas are essential for both economic and Cultural aspects. This essay will discuss both perspectives in upcoming paragraphs.
On one hand, one major reason why some people believe that Cinemas and theaters are not crucial for watching movies is wastage of money. people can access to various entertainment websites where they can watch movies, webseries and other sort of entertainment without paying money. for an example, new launched movies are available after few days of their launch at free movie platforms. As a result, people can able to save money, despite wasting on purchasing movies tickets.
On the other hand, other people argue in favour of theaters and cinemas because it is not only helps to boost the economy of country but also help to prevent cultural norms among people. when people go at Cinemas for movies at that time they pay taxes over tickets. In addition, they also spend time with their close ones while watching movies. For instance, when tickets purchased by people they also contributes to pay taxes. As a result, the money collected as a tax, can be utilized in development of country.
To conclude, the preference preference of people towards cinemas varies according to their perspectives. Some people preferen prefer to watch movies at online plateforms because it enables them to save money, But, according to me, cinemas are importanee essential for both to economic aspects and cultural aspects because it contributes to develope economy and also allow people to spend social time together.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response partially addresses the task by discussing both the decline of cinemas in the digital age and their ongoing economic and cultural importance, alongside providing a personal opinion. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For instance, the argument regarding economic impact states that people pay taxes when they buy tickets, but this point lacks elaboration or specific supporting examples. Similarly, the discussion on cultural norms is repetitive and fails to explore how cultural preservation actually occurs. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to extend and support these main ideas with more substantial explanations and clearer examples rather than repeating similar points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organisation with the use of standard paragraphing and basic transition phrases like "On one hand" and "On the other hand". However, the response lacks a clear overall progression, as ideas tend to circle back without advancing the argument effectively. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on transitional phrases that feel mechanical rather than natural. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, which disrupts the logical flow between sentences. To improve, the writer should use a wider variety of cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure that each paragraph builds logically upon the previous one to maintain a smooth narrative arc.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as "digitalization" and "economic and cultural aspects," but there are noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and form throughout the text. Examples include "new launched movies," "free movie platforms," and the phrase "preference preference." Additionally, spelling and word formation issues, such as "importanee essential" and "develope," cause some difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their lexical range, demonstrate better control over word formation and collocations, and minimize vocabulary errors that impede clear communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response shows a limited range of sentence structures, with frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can cause difficulty for the reader. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, these are often faulty, such as "when people go at Cinemas for movies at that time they pay taxes over tickets," which suffers from preposition errors and awkward phrasing. There are also frequent issues with subject-verb agreement, such as "the importance of theaters and cinemas are reducing," article usage, and plurals. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to increase the variety of error-free complex structures and improve their control over basic grammar rules, prepositions, and punctuation.
