Student answer (Band 5.5)
Majority of public believe that due to coming of technoligical age, theatres and cinemas have lose its place. As many of ous now watch entertainment showes or movie at online platform. But on other hand, there are some how things that still consider significant by economically and culturally. I my opinion cinema houses are crucial because it provide profitable income to movies, while advertisementing through people. However, I believed that online steaming overtake the traditional form of entertainment. Because, it is more comfortable and easy to acess by individual.
The advantages of having movie theatres is due to its publicity for promotion and cultural experences among previous generation. As movie houses are also earned profit by promoting movies in society to sale their tickets, which help dictories to have sell expences for advertisements in community. Moreover, many employment is gernated during this activities that gives financial aid to small worker at economy. For example, It is often say that many of bollywood movies that goes get among public earns twice or thrice from its actural making.Which after wards filled many pockets who are involve at production. Therefore Its fulfilled economic factories which attached by stabilite.
Another thing to consider is, Technological advancement shift the source of entertaiment. This because many of ous do not have spare time, which increased the demand for different wayes to used entertainment like watching movies at flexible time frame. And that condition is fulfilled by online services that decreased the importances of cinema from people. For instance, Netflix is consider to be top consuming platform, as it provide flexible options to consumer by providing various types of subcription planes which save time while, illustrating choices. Hence advance tech provide facilities as per the demand in community and that the reason i thing that theatres losing its value.
In conclution, however cinemas where saw as valueable place for enjoyment of economical growth, it has change now deu to digital age, In addtion i consider that online platform would increased because its easy uitilisation and flexible opertion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views—the enduring economic and cultural significance of theatres and cinemas versus the dominance of online entertainment—and provides a clear, albeit basic, personal position. However, the development of ideas remains limited and under-developed. For example, while the writer mentions economic benefits such as employment generation and profit distribution, these points are expressed vaguely and lack specific, well-reasoned support. The arguments tend to be repetitive and rely on over-generalised assertions rather than deeply explored examples, which places the task response at this level. To move further, the student needs to extend their arguments with more thorough explanations and concrete details rather than skimming the surface of each point.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some overall organisation with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and cohesive devices are often inaccurate, repetitive, or mechanically applied. Phrases like 'Another thing to consider is' and 'In conclution' are used to mark transitions, but referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the pronoun use in 'Which after wards filled many pockets who are involve at production.' Paragraphs contain internal grouping of ideas around central topics, but logical flow is occasionally disrupted by awkward phrasing and abrupt shifts between sentences. To achieve a higher standard, the writer must ensure that cohesive links connect ideas more smoothly and that referencing is tightly controlled to establish an unmistakable progression of thought.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'technological advancement' and 'subscription planes', but these attempts are marred by frequent errors in word choice, word form, and spelling, including 'tecnoligical', 'lose its place', 'showes', 'streamimg', 'acess', and 'uitilisation'. These noticeable errors sometimes cause difficulty for the reader and reflect a restricted lexical repertoire. To improve, the student needs to expand their control of word forms and collocations, ensuring they use accurate vocabulary that conveys meaning precisely without frequent spelling slips.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying primarily on simple sentences alongside faulty attempts at complex structures. Frequent grammatical errors are present throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('theatres and cinemas have lose', 'cinema houses... because it provide'), article usage ('due to coming of technoligical age'), prepositions ('at online platform', 'involved at production'), and sentence fragments or run-on structures ('For example, It is often say... Which after wards filled many pockets...'). These frequent errors can cause difficulty for the reader. To progress, the writer must work on building a wider variety of accurate complex sentences, paying careful attention to basic clause structures, tense consistency, and punctuation.
