Student answer (Band 5.0)
With the rapid expension of digital media has made vast era of entertainment accessible from home. Consequantly, cinemas and theatres have lost importance in this digital era. Some people say that cinemas and theatres still have importance either it is economically or culturally.
In recent decades digital media has been becoming more popular and entertaining. People are more inclind towards watching movies and dramas online beacuse the cost is low and also there are more open options avaliable. They can select what the want to watch. Youngsters feel easy and comfortable while watching online at home while they lying on bed or sitting on sofa.
On other side some people argue that they theatres and cinemas have equal importance economically and culturally. Cinemas are pretty good culturally because when we go to cinema we intract with different kind of people and when we intract people its some time more relaxing than stayig at home. we feel mentally relaxed. Cinemas and theatres also play role economically because more people come more revenue will be generated from cinemas. Government should focus on growth of cinemas and theaters.
My vote goes to cinemas and theaters because i belive that they are helpful in geeting

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
The response addresses the prompt only partially, and the argument is cut off before completion due to the essay being incomplete. At 201 words, the length requirement of 250 words is not met, which significantly restricts the development of your ideas. While you attempt to discuss both views regarding the importance of digital media versus cinemas and theatres, your own opinion is left unfinished at the end of the text ('helpful in geeting'). The position is stated rather than fully developed, and supporting examples are limited and repetitive. To reach a higher band, you must ensure you write at least the minimum word count, fully develop your position throughout the essay, and provide extended supporting reasons for both sides of the argument.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
Your essay displays some organization with a basic paragraph structure, but there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are minimal, inadequate, or repetitive. For example, you rely heavily on basic transition phrases like 'On other side' and 'In recent decades', and referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'when we intract people its some time more relaxing'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the final paragraph breaks off abruptly. To improve in this area, you should use a wider variety of cohesive devices more accurately, ensure each paragraph has a clear central topic, and maintain a logical flow of ideas from the introduction through the body paragraphs to a completed conclusion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word form that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, such as 'expension' instead of expansion, 'Consequantly', 'inclind' instead of inclined, 'avaliable', and 'intract' instead of interact. You make basic attempts at less common vocabulary, but these are often marred by inaccuracies. To move to a higher band, you need to expand your lexical range, learn the correct spelling and word forms of intermediate and advanced vocabulary, and pay closer attention to natural collocations when discussing cultural and economic topics.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying mostly on simple sentences and basic complex forms, many of which contain errors. There are frequent grammatical mistakes, including issues with prepositions, articles, and verb forms, such as 'With the rapid expension of digital media has made...' where the subject is left dangling, 'they theatres and cinemas' with an intrusive pronoun, and 'while they lying on bed'. Punctuation and word boundary errors are also present. To achieve a higher score, you need to produce a greater variety of complex structures with better control, reducing the frequency of basic grammatical errors so that your sentences are consistently clear and easy to read.
