Student answer (Band 5.5)
People have diiferent views about whether some people are intrested to watch movies, sports and more through online apps in home, while others thinks that going to theatres and movies are still important both economically and culturally. This essay will discuss both perspectives and i belive that going to theatres is important for both better screen and sound experience.
To began with, supporters of the view argue that in future, theaters and cinemas are no longer important for people they all intreasted to watch through online platforms. This is because in present generation movies underwent heavy budgets and charges of actors collecting 100's of cores by this production team to collect their budget through hike of movie ticktes more than normal prices many people assume that instead of watching movies in theraters prefer watching movies in television with family and save money . For example, we see many movies are going with very high budgets by this movie distribution team will hike 2 to 3 times more than normal tickets it not acceptable by middle class family they cannot affort that much of prices. Instead of wasting thousands of money for one movie they perefer buying ott platforms and watching different movies with families at any time.
On the other hand other belive that watching movies in theaters are still important both economically and culturally. This is because watching movies in theraters give a best experience than watching movie in television, in therates the screen and sounds system was amazing and we assume like we are in movie and for popular actors movies their is a lot of celebrations in theraters while they dancing, fighiting people are enjoyed a lot. For instance in my country while a popular hero movie be released no one think about money all are prefer to watch movie in therater for better view and celebrations are too good. As a result, these will help movie economically by collecting their budgets and culturally.
I personally belive that watching movies in theraters was a better experience in every one like by these they can spent time with family as well as family members were enjoyed as they come out from home and spent with family. Hike of prices is one problem but for better view and spending time with family its become a small problem.
In conclusion, although some people are intrested to watch movies, sports and more through online apps in home, I belive that watching movies in theratres will be best for experince and spending time with family as a outing as well as this will hepls economically to producers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both the decline of physical cinemas due to online streaming and their ongoing economic and cultural importance, while also presenting a clear personal position. However, some ideas are unevenly developed. For instance, the discussion regarding high production budgets and ticket pricing in the second paragraph becomes repetitive and loses focus, shifting away from a broader societal view to a narrow complaint about ticket costs. To reach a higher level, the ideas need to be more fully extended and supported with sharper, more precise examples rather than generalisations about middle-class families.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and conclusion, and the response is divided into logical paragraphs. Cohesive devices are used to signal shifts between viewpoints, such as 'To began with' and 'On the other hand'. While this displays a solid organizational structure that meets the requirements of the lower band, it also hints at features of the next band through its clear progression of ideas. However, referencing is sometimes unclear, and cohesive devices can feel mechanical or repetitive, such as the frequent reliance on 'This is because'. Enhancing the flexibility of referencing and transitions would elevate the organizational flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully communicating everyday ideas and attempting less common terms such as 'economically', 'cultural', and 'distribution team'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice, collocation, and spelling throughout the essay. Words such as 'diiferent', 'intrested', 'theraters', 'intreasted', and 'perefer' demonstrate frequent spelling errors. Furthermore, phrasing like 'movies underwent heavy budgets' and 'collecting 100's of cores' reflects awkward collocations and a lack of precision, resulting in language that occasionally causes difficulty for the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures such as conditional and reason clauses. However, the grammatical range remains limited, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. There are recurrent errors in verb tenses, subject-verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries—such as comma splices and run-on sentences in phrases like 'in therates the screen and sounds system was amazing and we assume like we are in movie'. While these errors rarely impede overall communication, their frequency prevents the essay from achieving a higher level of grammatical control.
