Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this digital age and advancments everything we coul'd get online easliy. Whatever entertainment anybody wants that is easly available on the online platforms. Ther is lot of platforms provides diffrent kinds of entertainment. Yes ofcourse some pepole keep saying in this digital age the theatres and cinemas are no longer important according thier point of views. Some people says theaters and cinemas are very important even in the digital age. They often go to the theaters and cinemas to enjoy the entertainment. They don't feel the same experience in the home while watching the any kind of entertainment. Because there is lot of diffrent things included in this. According to the some peopale they want to go to the theaters with family and friends, for the real enjoyments of the entertainment. They coul'd get a diffrent experience views and the sound, I guess. Eeven after everything getting online some people prefrence to go outside and enjoy the cinemas with the groups. Some people often says why we want to go outside and waste our time, If we can get everything in the home.
According, to my opinion yes obivously the theaters and cinemas are very major factor culterly and economically. Not, just because everything we can easily get online, these are the important part of our culture and econoy. Lot of people are actually working in this domain and for them these is their primary resource to feed their family. Over all this is part of daily life and their jobs. I would say lot of people are actully working in this indusrty so if we completly shut down then the economay will drastically imapcted. I also often go to the theaters with family, friends, to enjoy the cinemas and yes lot of people are working there to give us best service. I strongly agree with continue with theaters and cinemas so we can enjoy with family and friends and economy also incraese.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both the decline of physical cinemas due to online streaming and their ongoing economic and cultural importance, while also stating a personal opinion. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the economic point is introduced with the statement that 'lots of people are actually working in this domain,' but this argument is not fully extended or supported with specific examples. The position is visible throughout the text, notably in the conclusion where the author strongly agrees with the continued relevance of cinemas, yet the overall development sits at a partial level due to repetition and lack of elaboration.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation present in the response, moving from the introduction of online entertainment to the debate surrounding physical venues, and finally to the personal opinion. However, there is no clear overall progression, and the text suffers from repetitive phrasing such as 'some people say' and 'theatres and cinemas.' Cohesive devices are used in a very basic and sometimes inaccurate manner, such as 'According, to my opinion' and 'Over all this is part of daily life.' Paragraphing is attempted, but the grouping of ideas lacks smooth transitions, leading to a choppy and mechanical flow throughout the essay.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited and minimally adequate for discussing the topic. There are frequent noticeable errors in word choice, spelling, and word formation that cause some difficulty for the reader, such as 'advancments' instead of advancements, 'culterly' instead of culturally, 'econoy' instead of economy, and 'indusrty' instead of industry. The student attempts to use less common items like 'domain' and 'primary resource,' but these are often applied with noticeable inaccuracies in collocation or style. Basic words are repeated frequently, restricting the range of expression available to fully articulate complex thoughts.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying predominantly on simple sentences and repetitive subject-verb patterns. Attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty, seen in clauses like 'if we completly shut down then the economay will drastically imapcted' and 'why we want to go outside and waste our time, If we can get everything in the home.' There are frequent errors in verb forms, tense consistency, and punctuation, including missing articles and incorrect auxiliary usage such as 'we coul'd get' and 'there is lot of platforms provides.' These grammatical lapses cause noticeable difficulty and strain for the reader.
