Student answer (Band 5.0)
People are divided on a view, whether the movies are watched more online on electronic gedgets,or in theatres and cinemas .Both the viewpoints are mentioned below;however I agree with the former.
On the one hand ,there are proponents who have their backing up fectors. The one might be made of strongthen social networks. To explicate that if people watch the films in theatres ,they will boost their confidence also may learn interpersonal skills;co-operation,co-ordination,communicaton and dicision making.Along with this, people will connect with their culture and tradition. As a result, tnis would not only be beneficial for the individuals,it would also be for the onners of both theatres and cinemas with earning money of their tickets.
On the other hand,I side with those who opinion, technical devices are play a important role in entertainment activities;watching movies on mobile, laptop and computers because of th comfortable and convenient. This means that in todays era, people are interested to use the internet for their lexuries activities doing at home with their whole femily.Due to this,it would cheaper way of watching films instead of watching in theatres and cinemas. Moreover, watching onlne movies is open 24-7rather than cinemas .For example, in India, individuals of this nation are prefer to watch films on electronic gedgets and save their resoures;money and time. Thus ,if people would watch movies online, how would it not be fruitful for them?
In conclusion, both the statements have been expained,I reitate that the reasons why people are use the internet for watching films instead of in theatres and cinemas;comfortable and convenient and cheaper, have been justified.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You present a clear preference for online viewing in the introduction and conclusion, and you include relevant points about convenience, lower cost, and saving time. You also mention the opposing view through social interaction, cultural connection, and income for cinema owners. However, the discussion is uneven: the case for theatres is difficult to follow and focuses mainly on personal benefits rather than explaining their wider cultural and economic importance. The online-viewing argument is more developed, but claims such as people in India preferring devices are broad and need clearer support. To strengthen the response, explain both sides more directly and develop specific examples that address the task’s economic and cultural dimensions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs signposted with “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion, so the reader can identify the intended structure. Some progression is also visible within the online paragraph, moving from convenience to cost and availability. However, connections between ideas are often unclear or mechanical. For example, “The one might be made of strongthen social networks” does not clearly establish the point, and the conclusion repeats the online advantages rather than synthesising the two views. Several sentences contain multiple ideas joined by commas or semicolons, making relationships harder to follow. Use clearer topic sentences, link each explanation explicitly to its main point, and make references such as “this” unambiguous.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “interpersonal skills,” “culture and tradition,” “convenient,” and “resources,” and you use some topic-specific terms such as “electronic gadgets.” However, the range is limited and many word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Phrases such as “backing up factors,” “strongthen social networks,” and “lexuries activities” are unclear or unnatural, while repeated use of “watching films” and “online” limits variety. Frequent misspellings, including “communicaton,” “dicision,” and “expained,” also reduce clarity. Build a reliable set of accurate expressions for discussing access, audience experience, and cultural value, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “if people watch the films in theatres” and a result clause beginning “As a result.” However, control is inconsistent, and faulty sentence construction often makes the intended meaning difficult to recover. Examples include “technical devices are play a important role” and “individuals of this nation are prefer,” where verb forms and articles are not controlled. There are also problems with sentence boundaries and punctuation, such as the long opening sentence and the comma splice in “This means that in todays era, people are interested to use…” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
