Student answer (Band 5.0)

There are two mind sets one of them said in this era which is known as digital age here, no need for the the Theatres and Cinemas according to them people can watch everthing online rather than visitng Theates or cinemas but on the opposite side people argue that Theates and Cinemas are are worthful, accoding to there point both are still important for economically and culturally.

Some of people says theatres and cinemas are not imortant because every entertainment data is available online, According to them everyone can watch at any time, any where what ever he have to watch he can. In there point of view everyone is busy in their own business so, when ever they feel free can watch easyli without making pane to buy tickets or booking in advance.

Secoundly they Says that that if one man have to watch 1 move but the others have to watch another it's not good for them. They argue by saying that if there is conflict between two people and at the end they have to watch movie decided by the organization.

On the other side there are a number of mind sets they belive that theatres and cinemas are still important in economically and culturally. There point is about the Cultura and money. They belive that if we a watching any show or move togather it give us chance to meet with other people and to know about each other, which was over fathers have done.

They also say if there were no theatres and cinnemans the production cost will effect because there are number of wesites those providing these movies and drams free of cost which discurrage Producers to make more.

In my personal point of view I belive that there should be theathers and cinemas in the difital era to give us chance to spend time with our families and friends. It will give more currege to producers to record more and more.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views and state your own preference: online viewing is presented as convenient, while cinemas are defended for social and economic reasons. This gives the response a relevant foundation. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The point that people may disagree about which film to watch is difficult to follow and is not clearly connected to why online viewing makes cinemas unnecessary. The economic argument—that free websites discourage producers—is relevant, but it needs explanation or a specific example. Your opinion is clear at the end, but it would be stronger if introduced earlier and supported with a fuller reason. Develop each main idea with a clear explanation and an example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs presenting each view, and a concluding opinion. Sequencing phrases such as “On the other side” and “In my personal point of view” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the paragraph about online entertainment moves from convenience to a disagreement over film choice without explaining the connection. Repeated references to “they” and “their point” also make it difficult to identify whose argument is being discussed. Use clearer topic sentences, organise each paragraph around one central claim, and connect explanations explicitly rather than relying mainly on basic transition phrases.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “digital age,” “production cost,” “producers,” and “culturally,” so the reader can identify the subject and main arguments. However, the range is limited and many word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make the writing less clear. Examples include “worthful,” “every entertainment data,” “making pane,” and “give us more currege.” Several key terms are also misspelled, including “Theates,” “imortant,” and “discurrage,” which can interrupt reading. Aim to learn accurate topic-specific phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for convenience, shared experiences, and the financial impact on film production would help you explain your ideas more effectively.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because” and “if.” This shows an effort to explain reasons rather than relying only on short statements. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Some of people says” has problems with the noun phrase and verb agreement, while “if we a watching any show or move togather it give us chance” contains several errors that obscure the intended point. Some sentences also run together, particularly in the opening paragraph. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea, then add subordinate clauses and check subject–verb agreement and punctuation.
