Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You introduce both viewpoints and give a personal position, so the response is relevant to the question. The first view is supported with practical reasons—traffic, fuel use, and the convenience of watching films and ordering food at home. However, the opposing view is only briefly stated: the economic role of cinemas and their cultural value to tourists are not explained with a specific example or developed reasoning. Your conclusion, “I believe is not much essential nowadays to got cinemas,” gives a view, but it is unclear and does not bring the discussion together. The response is also five words below the required minimum. Develop both sides more evenly, explain how cinemas support jobs or preserve shared cultural experiences, and state your opinion clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding paragraph, which gives it a basic overall structure. Signposts such as “Firstly,” “Moreover,” “However,” and “Finally” help readers recognise the intended stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the first viewpoint has several linked reasons, while the second is very short and ends without explanation. Some linking phrases are awkward or do not clearly show the relationship between ideas, and the conclusion repeats the essay-opening function rather than summarising the argument. Improve the flow by grouping each reason with its explanation and example, and use clear transitions that connect the two sides and lead naturally to your final position.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “comfort zones,” “fuel,” “marketplace,” and “tradition,” and you use some topic-specific terms such as “movies” and “film producers.” However, the range is limited and many spelling errors or inaccurate word choices make the message difficult to follow, for example “rackon,” “conjuctiion,” “proplr,” and “esstential.” Several phrases are also unnatural, including “a considerate number,” “not having upper hand,” and “essential key of state economy.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than using ambitious phrases you are unsure about. Proofread spelling carefully and learn useful expressions such as “a significant number,” “play an important role in the economy,” and “cultural heritage.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including a sentence beginning “For example” and one using “while staying at home.” However, sentence structures are often incomplete or faulty, and errors frequently make the intended meaning hard to understand. For instance, “The very first reason the that theaters have vital role” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “I believe is not much essential nowadays to got cimeas” is missing a subject and has an incorrect verb form. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check that every sentence has a subject and finite verb, and review articles and verb forms before submitting.
