Student answer (Band 4.5)
In the modern era several individuals say there is no need of theatres and cinemas because people watch all the entertaiment online. On the other hand some say theatres and cinemas are very still crucial for our economically culturally.
In this modern era, where everyone has its own mobilephone . We don't need any theatres and cinemas because if we want to watch any thing like films, daramas, news we can see it online. Futhermore, in this way we can save our time and money also both these things are very significant.
In contrast, theatres and cinemas are a great source of enjoyment. Alot of individuals gatherd there and experience a thing. Although its an old thing but it's a superb thing. Through this we can become economically stable beceause it is a best way to earn money. It's part of our culture and it is the pride of our culture because other nations don't have these things especially theatres.
Alot of famous actors earn from this things. hunderds of thousands individuals runing their homes through theatres and cinemas.
From my perpective, in this modern era most of the peolpe are busy. No one has enough time to go theatres and cinemas and watch films that's why in this time most of the people prefer watch online entertainment. Whereas, cinemas and theatrers are a great activity to make mood lighter and a great source of entertainment and also through this we can become more stalbe either financialy and culture

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address both views and state a preference for online entertainment, while also acknowledging that cinemas can provide enjoyment and support livelihoods. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the online-view paragraph mainly says that people save time and money, and the economic and cultural claims are asserted rather than explained. For example, “other nations don't have these things” does not establish why theatres are culturally important, and the final opinion is difficult to pin down because it praises cinemas after saying most people prefer online viewing. The response is also one word below the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, explain each view with a specific example and state clearly which position you support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a concluding personal perspective. Basic signposting such as “On the other hand” and “In contrast” helps readers follow the change in viewpoint. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and some points appear abruptly: the sentence about famous actors and people supporting their households is separated from the paragraph about economic benefits. The conclusion also combines competing claims without clearly resolving them. Some linking phrases are repetitive or awkwardly placed, and the opening fragment, “In this modern era, where everyone has its own mobilephone,” interrupts the flow. Group related economic points together and use clearer references and transitions to show how each idea supports your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “entertainment,” “economically stable,” “culture,” and “source of enjoyment,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise, which limits how clearly you can express the discussion. Phrases such as “a thing,” “a superb thing,” and “very still crucial” do not communicate specific ideas naturally; “runing their homes through theatres” is also unclear. Spelling errors, including “entertaiment,” “Futhermore,” “hunderds,” and “perpective,” further reduce accuracy. Aim to use precise terms for the benefits being discussed—for example, employment, cultural heritage, and shared experiences—and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer structures, including “Although its an old thing but it's a superb thing” and the sentence beginning “From my perpective,” but control is limited and errors occur frequently. Several sentences have problems with agreement, articles, or sentence construction: “everyone has its own mobilephone,” “we don't need any theatres,” and “it is a best way” are examples. The opening “In this modern era, where everyone has its own mobilephone” is a fragment, while the final sentence is incomplete and lacks clear punctuation. These issues sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete sentence boundaries.
